It was difficult to find the property due to the confusing numbering system for the street, but I suppose this is typical of Sicily as a whole. It would help if there were a sign saying "Pomelia" so at least you knew you were in the right place. We were disappointed to find that there was no kitchen in the property, although this may be due to me not reading the property description correctly. There was a small fridge which helped, but no kettle, so it was impossible to make your own hot drinks. I found the bed a bit soft, and it was clearly 2 single beds together to make one double. On the positive side, the bathroom was OK, and the property is in a quiet part of Mondello, but close enough to walk to the excellent beach and the piazza.

Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel.
