Bed and Breakfast Alla Martorana - Palermo

Everything was great! Perfect location? Cozy room, new WC! Minor inconveniences: 1. Aircon was noisy and did not work properly, but room was on shadow side thus it was no problem. 2. Owner did not speak English but we used drawings and understood each other perfectly.

Very nice place - we took the room with king size bed, a lot of space inside the room. The bathroom was very clean and the owner was so polite and friendly.. The Martorana is in the middle of town, you are near to almost everything. We reaaly enjoyed staying there and we will for sure come back!

This is not a hotel, more like an apartment, no employees, just an owner, nice guy who does not speak any English. Clean, nice, GREAT LOCATION. You get your own key for the stay. It was a little bit noisy at night, but not from the street, some kind of bar music, never found out from. Stayed for 3 nights on weekend, no cleaning up was done (but we did not need it). No internet, no phone, no alarm clock. We did not need internet, and we had a cell phone, but having those things available could be a great improvement for the place. But, in general, we like it, might stay there again if our Italian improves.

The appartment is great in all aspects - the room is big, the bathroom is very clean and comfortable. The only minus would be that aircon was not working properly - we set it to 17C but it was working only on 25C. The hosts are very sweet people. Rafaello speaks pretty good English, his father does not speak English but we managed to talk on basis things using drawings :)
