We were only one day but lovely this place. Close to airport, sea and to rail station to Rome. I'm recommending Notti Romane as nice and not expencive location near Rome

Once you get inside the gates it is a truely great experience. If you understand the mediteranean then you won't expect perfectly manicured and tarmaced roads as you approach the property. The room was well coordinated with original artwork on the walls, the indoor and outdoor kitchens were an unexpected bonus as was being able to have eat outside. A gem of a place in an unexpected setting with welcoming hosts who are happy to give as much or as little attention as you require. Ostia Antica is a must but a lot to see in just one day, the beach is close but remember that in Italy most beach belongs to hotels or resturants so the local beach is quite small. Rome itself is close but driving can be a nightmare; itallians seem to have different rules of the road to UK. We spent 2 very happy relaxed nights here and would happily return for more.

The B&B was great once we found it, the room was excellent and the operators were friendly and helpful. The driving directions were insufficient once we got to the neighborhood, so print yourself a map of the neighborhood (Italian roads and signs being what the are). The location is very convenient to the FCO airport for that last night before you fly home. I will book this B&B again if the opportunity arises.

Un buon B&B accogliente e familiare. A 10 minuti di macchina dal mare. Pulito. Buona la colazione. Davvero molto disponibile e gentile la signora Daniela. Una stanza pulita e luminosa. Consigliato a chi vuole una sistemazione economica vicino al mare ma anche non troppo lontano dalla capitale ed ha la possibilita di spostarsi in macchina.

How to reach B&B Notti Romane

By car
From the external ring of the G.R.A. (Grande Raccordo Anulare), heading East, take the exit n.27 'Casal Palocco'. Then follow signs to Cristoforo Colombo towards the sea.
From the internal ring of the G.R.A., heading West, take the exit n.26 - EUR/center. After 100mt take the road on your right following the signs for Torrino. At the stop turn left and reach for the roundabout. There turn left again: after a short uphill drive the street merges with the Cristoforo Colombo avenue. Follow the avenue towards the sea.

At the 5th semaphore on the Cristoforo Colombo avenue, from the external lane, turn left on Via Canale della Lingua.
Via Momigliano is the second street on your right.
The B&B is located in the 3rd villa on the right side of the street.

By airplane
From the Fiumicino International airport, take the bus "Cotral" to the Ostia Lido central station. Then, at the station, take the bus n.06 and get off at the Castel Porziano stop right after the crossroad with 'Via Canale della Lingua'. Here walking on Via Canal della Lingua turn left on second street: Via Canale della Lingua. At number 10 there is the B&B.
From the Ciampino International airport, take the underground line B, direction Laurentina, and get off at the Eur Magliana station. Then take the train Roma - Ostia Lido, following the Ostia direction, until the terminus. Then take the bus line 066 and get off at the 'Canale della Lingua' stop.
