Valentina Bed & Breakfast - Orvieto

A lovely B&B hidden in a back street and close to everything. The room was spacious and well furnished - indeed I had a kitchenette as a bonus.

We had two rooms on the top floor and sharing a privat sittingroom/kitchen, exelent for us as we traveled with two small children

The room was comfortable with thoughtful conveniences, though considerable space was taken up by the table and chairs used for breakfast so there was minimal surface for our things. Also, we may have had better breakfasts in a restaurant, but it was nice to have coffee in our room (after inevitably spilling it due to poor carafe design). Too bad breakfast is not included in the price. Valentina is a real jewel. She came to get us at the train station, as I had inquired about this before starting the trip......but forgotten about it when we arrived; she was not the least upset about the inconvenience of making the trip and our not being there. We ended up using the Funicolare (simple to do) and had a pleasant walk to the B&B. She was very helpful with sight seeing ideas, directions for getting around town and restaurant recommendations (gave us 2-3 options per night -- we loved Numero Uno). She even spent time on the phone and computer making a Rome-Sorrento bus reservation for us. We really appreciated her warm, generous hospitality (and her English skill). We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely room and great staff. A bit hard to find when we first arrived. Loud church bell rings all night, but the town is so small you probably hear it everywhere - bring earplugs!

One of the highlights of our Italian vacation. The B & B room we were in was beautiful to look at, quiet, a great bed, all amenities included as requested, a great, clean bathroom, pleasant staff and an amenable hostess to converse with. A truly wonderful stay made all the more memorable by being in Orvieto!
