Michelangeli B&B - Orvieto

Can't say enought about our stay here. Were there for 3 nights and it really felt like home. Close to everything in Orvieto but not noisy like our rooms in Siena and Assisi. Francesca was our host and she was very very helpful and had great recommendations for dining, touring, and shopping. Very nice second bedroom above the kitchen. Room does have 2 circular stairways, one to get to master bedroom loft and second to get to bathroom. Both very nice stairs but you need to know they are there. You will not be disappointed in your stay.

This is a lovely B&B, clean, spacious and quiet. The reception was friendly and the quality of service excellent. All the little things were taken care of and there really was no need to do anything else other than relax, wander up the street for fine food and to contemplate a lovely piazza with a splendid Duomo. There were inexplicably few tourists and Orvieto is a gem to visit. Francesca was the perfect host, with impeccable advice about surrounds and decent restaurants: this B&B is excellent value for money and a real pleasure for accomodation! A short trip from Rome and a really excellent way to have a charming break. I would look no further! thank you Francesca!!
