Guilia was a very gracious and hardworking host. Her resaurant recommendations were excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The entire B&B has been renovated recently and is in top shape. It is located near the center of Orvieto and its attractions. Parking is available nearby for a small fee. We would love to return some day.

The old house has been refurbished with good taste. The hostess is extremely friendly and dedicated. Sorry we couldn´t stay longer.

This was our second time in Orvieto so we only stayed there for one night at Sant'Angelo. We had selected the B&B from the Internet and it was everything that we expected and more.The room was very spacious,well decorated with a very comfortable bed.Our hostess was extremely friendly and helpful, going out of her way to help us rearrange our car rental with Hertz. Breakfast was included but was limited to the standard offerings one would expect in Italy; breads, coffee and pureed fruits. But that was the only flaw in an otherwise wonderful choice of accommodation. We would return there with no hesitation. Strongly recommended.

Giulia, the host, was most welcoming and helpful. Although the room I stayed in on the first night was fine, she kindly offered to move me to a better room with balcony for the remaining two nights of my stay. The bathrooms were clean and spotless. The breakfast is pleasant and includes fresh juices, coffee, cake and a selection of breads and jams. - Giulia suggested and made a reservation for me at a local restaurant frequented by locals, not tourists. - I would recommend Sant Angelo 42 to anyone looking to visit Orvieto.

This B&B is wonderful! The owner, Giulia, is a real sweetie. Our top-floor room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had a small balcony overlooking a quiet street. We really loved being able to leave the balcony doors open at night, for fresh air. Be sure to ask Giulia about the "back way" to the Duomo!

B&B Sant'Angelo 42 is, simply put, the best place I've stayed in on my (extensive) travels in Italy. I can recall no B&B or hotel where I've had such a nice welcome, so much help and inspiration in discovering the surroundings and advice on dining in the area (Giulia is a sweet and thoughtful host), such a beautiful and spacious room - in short, I thoroughly recommend it. In its price range, too, it is top notch.

Stayed in Sant'Angelo 42 for two nights in early April 2011. One of the best places to stay, ever! Extremely quiet and central location, beautiful, clean and stylish room and other areas, friendly, relaxed and professional service... Breakfast in a beautiful kitchen together with other guests around one big table.

Loved this place!!! We were bumped to the master suite, which is absolutely GREAT!!! Definitely recommend the suite!!! The host, Guila (Julia) was great as well. She speaks very good English and makes great cappuccinos & breakfast bread. I also recommend waking up early to take pictures of the sunrise over the walls of the city, or take a stroll around the outside to get some great photos of the sunset! Orvieto was just amazing overall and this Bed & Breakfast definitely helped! Take an evening stroll down to one of the local cafe/wine bars. Nothing beats this place!

Our Standard Room Blue combines modern designs and colors to rustic furniture and its design is classic-modern. The small balcony gives a nice view over the rooftops of Orvieto. How to reach Sant'Angelo 42 - Bed & Breakfast
By carat the exit of Orvieto of the highway A1 follow the cartels to the historic center. When you arrive to the historic center you are in Cahen square, here take the third street of the right, Postierla street, go straight for 200 metres until to arrive in Marconi square, that you find on the right. In this square there is a big parking where you can park your car. From here by walk take Via di S.Angelo, that is the street that start between two school's buildings. Go straight in this street until to arrive at number 42 where you can find B&B Sant'Angelo 42.
By train
when you arrive to the railway station of Orvieto take the funicular to the historic center (ticket 1€).
when you exit from the funicular you are in Cahen square, here you can take the main street, Corso Cavour, and go straight for 400 metres until to arrive in Sant'Angelo square, that you can find on the left.
In this square turn on the left and walk for 10 metres and take, on the left, Via di S.Angelo, walk for 10 metres until the number 42 where you'll find B&B Sant'Angelo 42.
By airplane
From Leonardo Da Vinci (Fiumicino) Airport (Roma):
Take the metropolitan train to “Termini” or "Tiburtina" railway station. From here take the train, regional or intercity, to Orvieto (direction to Firenze that stops in Orvieto). When you arrive to the railway station of Orvieto take the funicular to the historic center (ticket 1€).
