This bed and breakfast is located on the same roundabout as the Triumphal Arch of Orange, a Roman monument that dates back at least to the time of the Severan dynasty. It’s a 10 minute walk from the centre of the town of Orange and the ancient Roman amphitheatre called the Théâtre antique d'Orange (Ancient Theatre of Orange). Built early in the 1st century AD, the theatre is today the home of the summer opera festival called the Chorégies d'Orange. The Orange Museum displays the largest Roman cadastral maps ever found, which are etched on marble. Villa de l'Arc is approx. 1.5 km/0.9 mile from the Orange train station; the bed and breakfast can provide shuttle service to and from the train station or Marseille Provence Airport, subject to charges.

By road
From the A7 motorway: Take Exit 21 near Orange and you are only 5 minutes away from Villa de l’Arc. After the toll exit, go into the direction of the center of town (i.e., straight at the first round-about, straight again at the second, and left at the third). There is a sharp turn to the right. Go left at the traffic light. You can spot the Triumphal Arch from a distance. Villa de l’Arc is on the left-hand side, just in front of the arch.

By rail
Normal as well as TGV trains go to the Orange train station (Gare d'Orange) from almost every city in France. Another nearby train station is Avignon TGV, less than a 3-hour trip from Paris. From Avignon TGV it takes only 20 minutes to travel to Villa de l'Arc by car, train, or bus.
