Ash Cottage is a family run bed & breakfast,offering bright, en-suite accommodation with comfortable beds, hot power showers and complimentry tea/coffee making facilities.

We are a 30 minute motorway drive from both Dublin Airport and City with a regular bus service to both very close by.The house is situated close to the thriving town of Navan, on a quiet tree-lined road.

Navan offers a variety of facilities and amenities for any visitor, including shopping, dining and a wide selection of pubs, night clubs and hotels. The house is a five minute walk from the Ardboyne Hotel and a three minute walk from the local pub and restaurant.

Sporting fans are well catered for. The nearby River Boyne is famous for its salmon and trout fishing and the house is a two minute stroll from Navan Rugby Football Club. Navan Racecourse, Fairyhouse Racecourse and high quality local courses are a short drive away. County Meath is an untapped goldmine for cyclists. It is a wonderfully green and fertile county with quiet country roads to satisfy any skill level.The County of Meath is the most historic in Ireland. Close to Ash Cottage are the neolitich burial sites of Newgrange Knowth and Dowth,which are UNESCO world heritage sites. The Hill of Tara (the seat of the ancient High Kings of Ireland) is close by and Castles, Irish Round Towers and Monasteries are a feature of the local landscape. How to reach Ash Cottage Bed and Breakfast

By car
From Dublin take the N3 which changes to the M3 outside city.there is a toll of euro 1.30.Take exit 8 towards Navan South.When you reach the roundabout take first exit towards Navan on R147.Travel for 2 minutes until you reach the a large sign for Ardboyne Hotel,also see smaller sign for Ash Cottage.Turn left at these signs.Pass the Rugby Club,Tennis Club and travel for two minutes along this road and you will see Ash Cottage sign on the right.From any other direction take the r147 from Navan town,the river Boyne will be on your right.You will pass a petrol station then come to a traffic light.Immediatly after the lights you will see a large sign for the Ardboyne Hotel and a smaller for Ash Cottage b&b.Turn right at these signs.Travel down this road for two minutes passing the Rugby Club and Tennis Club until you reach b&b sign on right side of road.

By train
There is no direct service to Navan at this time,so the closest would be by train to Dublin or Drogheda then by bus to Kilcairn Bridge Navan.We are a short walk from the stop.

By airplane
Fly to Dublin or Belfast.
