Ho aspettato davanti al portone con i bagagli per 20 minuti prima che arrivasse qualcuno ad aprire, la camera non era molto pulita, i mobili erano vecchi e il servizio era completamente assente, sono stata due giorni completamente da sola e i proprietari non sono nemmeno venuti per ritirare il pagamento, ho lasciato i soldi sul letto e me ne sono andata.

It's hard to find anything wrong with this place, just very tiny minor things. I wish the drain in the shower worked better so that water would not accumulate. And some fixtures, like the towel rack, are not well mounted and frequently fall off. Marco and his brother are very quick and responsive, always willing to help. Even Paola, the chambermaid, though she barely speaks English (and I little Italian) was delightful and showed me where to catch the bus and shop. Really really good quality and an interesting and convenient location.

We chose to drive from Rome to Naples which was a big mistake, we should have checked with Marco, the owner, first! However despite a rocky start to our stay we had a fantastic time, the accommodation was a good base to explore. In particular Marco was a fantastic help with directions and recommendations.

My family and I rate this property A+++. It is very close to Mergellina train station with connections to all parts of Italy and also very close to hydrofoil service to Capri and Ischia. The owner and staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. The cleaning lady was friendly and left the rooms spotless. There are several small markets close by and small refridgeraters in the rooms if you choose to eat in. Several inexpensive resteraunts are located between the property and waterfront. We would definately stay here again. Thank you Marco!

I am very glad that I chose this appartment for my stay in Naples. It's 50 m from the Metro station Mergelina and 600 m from the Mergelina port, from where we took the 'aliscafi' to Capri and Ischia / Procida islands. The owner - Marco - waited for us till 2 o'clock a.m. because our train from Rome was suspended, so -- Thank you, Marco! I recommend the appartment to anyone who wants to have a good sleep in Naples.

Great location for Naples- just 50m walk to the metro. The rooms we had were very big and spacious.

Beatiful rooms, ours was big enough for a whole family (2 bedrooms + one bathroom). The area is beautiful. The owner, is very, very nice, but usually not there... call before you arrive. A note: the Margellina train station is a few steps from this B&B. It is a metro and a train station... when you get your train tickets to go to Milan, get them to the Margellina station instead of the Central Station if possible. Get out from Margellina, take a left and walk a few steps, you're there (across the street).

Very nice and spacious room; well located, close to the station. Good breakfast (italian style)was served in a cafeteria nearby. For being a bed and breakfast, I find it a little expensive.

The location just next door to the Mergellina train station is really good. Mergellina and the area around is probably the nicest in all of Naples. But. This is not a hotel. This is more or less just an old appartement. There is no reception, there is actually no facilities at all. It is hidden in a building, all there is to tell you have come to the right place is a tiny sign on a doorbell. And noone answers if you ring it. If you go there, make sure you call ahead to tell them when you arrive, so someone is there to lock you in. We did not, and had to wait outside for about two hours before the cleaning lady came around to let us in. She did not have a key for us, so we still had to wait - but at least indoors - for another hour before someone gave us a key. But after that, all was really nice. We had the key to the building and (big) rooms, so we could come and go as we wanted. And easy access to both metro, trains and boats to Capri and Ischia was perfect for us. The only other thing that annoyed us a bit was the church next door, that insisted on waking us up at 7 every morning. So as long as you bring the phone number to the owner, and call him an hour or two before you arrive, and dont mind waking up early, you should be really satisfied.

The owners were very nice and the location felt secure. Very close to the metro so it was easy to go anywhere. Also close to the waterfront, which was very nice! There was a bit of traffic noise from outside, but the spaciousness of the place was more desired.
