Bed and Breakfast Napoli Centrale - Naples

Interesting hotel. I was a little bit suspicious at the beginning, delighted after a day.

Clean and excellent price/quality ratio in central Naples

The B&B Napoli Centrale has a good connection with airport by bus, near the Central railway station with direct Pompeii, Sorrento. There are different possibilities for meals, shopping, walks via Corco Umberto I to Piazza Municipio (bus for city sightseeing). The staff was friendly. The room is clean and spacious for B&B. We had very small breakfast. Be prepaid for very old and dirty common porch.

Tucked away in the center of Napels the Hotel was good value, clean and the staff were very helpful.

First of all, Napoli Centrale is a really nice place with friendly staff. I'd give a high price/quality ratio. (Great deal at least for November 2008!) Good location since it's quite near the main train station and the hub of Napoli public transportation. Only one downside, it wasn't so quiet at any time, partly because people were talking on the street and cars passing by and partly because the window couldn't be completely closed.

the area is quite central, near the railway, but, at least in that period, it was very dirty. it also didn't feel very safe. balcony in our room was very dirty and the balcony door was broken, so it was impossible to keep the noise out. bed was too hard. the staff behaved as if we were disturbing them, even though we were trying not to disturb them at all, axcept for the essential (breakfast and keys). breakfast hours are strangely late (from 9 a.m.) so we couldn't have breakfast before we left, as we had an early flight. breakfast is not too bad (italian style), but in poor quantities. there is satelite tv, but it didn't work. the place looks as if it has seen better days. it's not too bad (rooms are nice and big), but i will look for another place next time i go to naples.
