Bed and Breakfast MediNaples - Naples

Friendly and helpful staff. the b and b is easy to reach from the harbour, the airport and the station. It is located in an interesting district of Naples. We stayed 4 days in Naples. There is just one thing we did not like : the coffee (not really Italian !). But on the whole, a very pleasant place.

This hotel is on a busy street in downtown Naples. Although our room was spacious, the bathroom frequently smelled like sewer gases. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel is clean and comfortable, as it is noisy outside you have to keep the window closed so we did get warm but we had the aircon. The breakfast was quite good too. Unfortunately I didnt really like Naples but if you are visiting this is a good place to stay.

The B&B is a short bus ride to the main train station. Staff were always very helpful and ready to make recommendations on how to make best use of public transport. We visited Pompeii, Herculaneum, Vesuvius and the Archeological Museum. Good restaurants nearby. We would stay there again.

I have been to Naples many times over the past 45 years. The Hotel MediNaples B&B was one of the better hotels I have stayed in.The staff was outstanding & the breakfast was much more than exspected at a B&B.I would rate it a 10 and the price was right.

The hotel was well located. We were able to walk to a lot of tourist places. The room and bathroom, both were clean and spacious. The staff was very courteous. A great stay overall.

I have stayed at this b&b before and I like it very much, it is friendly, warm colors make it feels like a home and the breakfast i have seen and I have been travelling at lot in Italia. Warm croissants, different breads, cookies, juices, fruits and so on. The room is decorating in warm colors and it feels like a home.

Good value in a great location in Naples walking distance to most sites and restaurants.

Our stay at MediNaples was wonderful. When we arrived we were offered a large room for our first two days as the room was reserved for a large party. So we took the larger room for two days and the personnel moved our luggage into the smaller room, which was adequately suited for us, on the third day. The breakfast was plentiful for a B&B. There was juices, coffee, tea, pastries, cereal, fruit as well as packaged breads. The personnel were very eager to help in any way that they could. We would definetly stay there again. We were going on a cruise after our stay and were able to walk to the terminal from the B&B. There was bus and metro station within walking distance.

I bit pricey for Naples, in my opinion. I paid less for my rooms in Rome and Venice.

This was one of the best places I stayed during my whole 6 weeks trip in Italy. The room was spacious and clean, the staff at the front desk were extremely helpful and the breakfast was very fresh and delicious.

For those afraid of Neaples city center: this was the perfect location, being the B&B adiacent to the local office of Questura Della Repubblica (State police dept). We felt so safe that we went around visiting the so called quartieri Spagnoli regardless the usual recommendetions of locals.. ;)

Very friendly welcoming, italian and english speaking. Breakfast much better than expected. very good located, near busstop, harbour and hotspots of the centre. The only negative experience was eating at the restaurant "Solo pizza" in the front of the b&b, too expensive and not friendly. The city of Naples was a great experience to us, two adults and two kids.

Young and easy going, yet professional and kind people at the reception desk. This place is set in the commercial heart of Nalples and near to ferrys and metro station.

Well located in a tourist friendly part of the city with excellent restaurants nearby. The breakfast was exceptional with enough food to keep us going through the day. Also a good bus connection to the central station.

Di livello la qualità complessiva offerta dalla struttura, con interni curati e piacevoli anche esteticamente, camere accoglienti attrezzate di tutto punto e una colazione di buona fattura. Ho trascorso una splendida mini-vacanza, in cui il tempo magnifico e le bellezze della città ( un po’ meno i loro abitanti….) sono state ben supportate dal soggiorno in questa ottima struttura.Complimenti al titolare

The location of MediNaples is ideal to visit Naples. The staff could not have done more to help us and was very friendly. We found our bedroom a bit dark but it did not matter as we were always out.

The medinaples was excellent value, and quite comfortable. It's an older building so the rooms are large, and somewhat irregular is shape, but comfortable and quiet (aside from churchbells, which were not a problem). The staff were helpful, considering it is a bed & breakfast, not a hotel. It could be hard to find, as although the building number is clear, the only sign of the hotel is the small sign on the list of tenants near the door. However the Medinaples sent us a clear email of directions.. Its very handy to the bus stop to and from the railway station, and there are several pleasant ristorantes nearby

Excellent b&b in the heart of Naples at unbeatable prices. If you expect a real b&b like in England, please note that this is more like a small hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff (Virginia!) who point out buses, ships, trains. I had a very quiet room at the courtyard. The breakfast had enough variety to start the day well.

This B&B is located at a very convenient location with many amenities close by, eg, bus stop, pier, supermarket & restaurants. We had a very spacious room facing the street and had a balcony. That's neat. General experience was good with very helpful staff especially Stefano. Breakfast was decent with sufficient variety. All in all, a very good choice.

An excellent B&B, highly recommended! We found MediNaples to be a high quality B&B for a low price. Staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was very nice. We got a lot more than we expected, and will happily return to B&B MediNaples when we next stay in Naples.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the MediNaples. Our host was informative, friendly and accommodating. The area surrounding the MediNaples was actually much safer and cleaner than we'd anticipated, and just a few doors down were several affordable eateries to choose from. Additionally, our host gave us two fine dining recommendations that did not disappoint. The cost to value ratio was perfect - we'd stay at the MediNaples again should we ever find ourselves in Naples again.

These guys are awesome! The staff here are remarkable. They are welcoming, friendly, and go way out in their effort to be helpful. I would stay here again without hesitation. It is also the best breakfast we had in Italy and the use of their computer to check emails was very very appreciated. Location is very good. The cafeteria on the corner is also excellent and cheap and the staff there are very nice also.

The staff was extremely helpful in helping me to find a taxi to the airport at a very reasonable price at a very early time in the morning. Because I left so early they provided me with a breakfast tray in my room the night before. The room is simple but the bed is very comfortable. Not far from resteraunts and shopping. Easy bus ride from train to hotel. Will stay there again.

Stefano and his staff were extremely helpful at all times. The hotel is located just one block from the Piazza Municipo where the Alibus stops on its way to/from the airport and central train station.The rooms are clean,spacious and bright,with large windows overlooking Ave. Medina two stories below(have a 10 cent euro coin for the elevator-its a long haul with luggage). A major bus stop is just 30 steps away,but you can walk to all the historic sites in 15-20minutes because of the hotel's central location.A nice breakfast is served daily and many trattoria are on the street below for late night dining. Considering its location,nice rooms,very friendly staff and a price of 69 euros/night MediNaples is a rare and valuable find!

Ask Stefano for directions, otherwise it may be difficult to locate the building. Have your 10 cents ready for the lift to the second floor. In good location for ferries to the Islands and the Alibus to the airport.

Everything was perfect: very nice room, clean, quiet. The B&B is well located in Napoli making easily possible all visits in the city and its surrounding. And the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, giving this place a warm atmosphere. I had a very nice time there and recommend it to everybody, for any kind of travel.

The owner of the B&B was really helpful and friendly. He looked after some of our bags while we were in Sicily and gave us a discount when one of us missed 2 nights because of cancelled flights. The B&B is well situated for the airport bus and the area around is safe. The only criticism would be the breakfast room, which is a little claustrophobic.

Nice hotel in a interesting area, nice restaurants and bars!

We have been more than pleased with this place. The only minus (mark 8) is the fact that the lady who served was not multilingual (not even english!)However Sebastiano is really perfect: professional, multilingual, helpful, available, cheerful. The guy also who was cleaning was very efficient andnice. The situation of the B&B is fantastic: in the middle of everything, with all the bus connections. We will highly recommend this place.

We had a wonderful 1-week stay. Our room was spotless, extremely quiet (an inside room - no windows overlooking the street), and very comfortable. Great shower (water pressure/hot water never ran out). Breakfast was good and plentiful (coffee, tea, juices, boiled eggs, crossaints, cake, ham, cheese, cereal...). And of course, the staff was extremely helpful - Stefan even printed out train schedules for us. On our next trip to Naples, we will definitely return. Highly recommended.

Wir kamen vom Flughafen sicher mit dem Alibus am zweiten Busstop, nur ca. 200 m an. Wir freuten uns, daß wir so nah am alten Stadtzentrum waren. Wir wurden im B&B MediNaples herzlich begrüßt und gleich mit allen notwendigen Informationen für einen schönen Abend in Neapel versorgt. Unser Zimmer war gemütlich, ruhig und sehr sauber. Wir werden wiederkommen.

Je garde précieusement cette adresse, pour mon prochain voyage à Naples. Tout était comme prévu, encore mieux si possible, très sympathique. N'échangerais pour rien au monde un séjour aussi agréable contre un hotel étoilé mais anonyme. Chambres très agréables, petit dèj'délicieux et copieux, ntrès bon emplacement dans Naples.

Everything was very nice. The location of B&B is perfect, closed to the bus station from the airport and sea port. The personal (Mrs.Natasha) and the owner Stefano were very friendly and helpfull. The room was very nice. We liked everything. Thanks a lot for the hospitality.

Have 10 cents ready to take the elevator up two floors above the busy via medina. You will find a lovely little B&B with clean rooms and an owner who will be more than happy to answer every question about the city, restaurants, public transport and so on. Our room was very clean and having in mind of being in the middle of busy and narrow neaples it was very spacious. The private shower was very clean and never short of hot water. Breakfast was very limited, but given the number of coffeeshops around the hotel it would be a pity anyway not to have breakfast in the city.

Très belle chambre, vraiment bien située. Malgré la rue très bruyante sur laquelle donnait la fenêtre (quoi que je ne pense qu'il existe des rues silencieuses à Naples...), on a très bien dormi. Le personnel était courtois, gentil et serviable.

Actually this was the best B&B throughout our whole trip in Italy. Very nice and friendly, customer-oriented employees. The staff and location are the main strong point of this venue and clue of their success. We were especially pleased that there was a Russian-speaking employee as well. It will be very helpful for CIS guys with short knowledge of Italian. The hotel is located in a very good place near Royal Palace, Nuovo Palace, Umberto-I Gallery and other main places of interest of Neapol. Very good and ampful breakfast (eggs, yogurt, cereals, various croissants, cakes and muffins, jam, butter, honey, tea, coffee, milk, juice). Also near the hotel there is a bus-stop. It takes 10 minutes by bus or 20 minutes walk from railway station to this hotel. The room was big enough for three persons. Much more than in other hotels. The rooms are in good condition while the building in general is old. Rooms were cleaned every day, towels were changed every day. Our room was separated from other rooms by a corridor and dining-room and the windows faced to the yard, thus it was very calm and quiet. There is a frattelli cafe next door to the hotel with delicious pizza, pasta and other Italian dishes and cheap prices. And there is a supermarket up the street. The only inconveniency was a flush button in toilet. It must be pushed very tightly every time. Also, the shower cabin has no basin and the water is disposed to a hole in the floor of bathroom. Still, it was not really a problem for us, we did not pay it much attention. In general it is a very good place for very reasonable price. We remember it very positively and would like to stay there again and again :)

Great place in a popular area of Napoli surrounded by top hotels. very friendly staff and nice big spacious rooms and great value. The free internet is also a nice touch. It is on a busy street in Napoli so is fairly noisey at the front of the building, it also doesnt have a big sign so make sure you make a note of the full address when booking. Thoroughly recommeneded

Location is super.Stephan helped us a lot,he offered taxi brocher which made us reasonable trip to the airport.

Central location, very clean room. Breakfast was fine. Only remarks are that we had to pay 7,50 Euro per day for airconditioning (you can't do without in August)and internet should be available but there was no keyboard or mouse!

Very central, particularly excellent if you need to catch a ferry from the Molo Beverello (ony a few mins walk). Rooms are very clean, bathrooms decent sized, and their is also a/c! Only slight negative comment is the poor quality of the coffee at breakfast (unless you pay 1 euro for an expresso from the machine, and cornetti are plastic wrapped, not fresh ones. Overall excellent quality for the price paid. Very highly recommended.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was basic but clean and had air conditioning and a TV. We enjoyed our stay but it is worth noting a few points if you are considering this hotel. The hotel itself is inside a large building on a busy street. There is no sign outside but if you know the number (17) it is easy to locate (next to two excellent pizzerias). There is a lift (you need 10 Euro cents to operate it). The hotel is two floors up. Our room looked inwards to other aparments so avoided the traffic noise but got music, singing etc. from the surrounding apartments, and the sound of the bells from the nearby church even found its way in there. The breakfast area was small (just a lobby really) and could not cope if all guests arrived to eat at the same time but this did not happen to us.

Lovely atmosphere, great central location, and very friendly. Would reccommend it and I would stay there again. Lovely holiday.

I had a very nice stay. The only drawback was that the room did not have a window to the street - it was to the hotel inside (to the hall)!

One of the best bed & breakfast I ever stayed at. excellent breakfast and situated closed to the habour and the ferry-boats to Capri. Easy to find - Bus R2 from Napoli centrale = the railway station and the bus stopped about 100 m from the B&B.

Very good relation between price/quality. Rooms are very comfortable and the welcoming ok. Good adress.

Clean, spacious room with an excellent shower. Owners were friendly. Good location in the city. Only downside is the exterior of the building. It's hard to find and looks run-down (on the outside).

Un excellent accueil dans une demeure paisible et située idéalement. A recommander, vraiment. Presque rien à redire... Souhaitons seulement que bientôt la TV puisse accueillir au moins une chaîne en français...

Nous avons réservé ce B&B sur Internet et nous avons été très satisfait de l'efficacité du service. L'endroit était réellement tel que décrit et l'accueil très chaleureux (on y parle anglais et français). Nous avons eu des info très pertinentes sur les services environnants( bouffe, visite, déplacements...) La chambre est propre et malgré la turbulence de Naples, nous ne fûmes aucunement dérangés par les bruits de la ville. très bien situé il est facile de se déplacer dans la ville par bus, la rue Médina étant une plaque tournante de la ville. Rapport qualité/prix: excellent. Merci pour le beau séjour

A very good place to stay. We were 2 couples. Both rooms were clean, quiet, and tastefully decorated. Don't expect a 5 stars hotel, but a very welcoming B & B. The staff is competent and very friendly. They speak English, French (what was very convenient for us), Italian and maybe other languages. The location is ideal, between the old town and the port (which is quite useful for a day trip to Capri or Amalfi coast with a ferry). I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is a fully refurbished house and facilities with an inner patio.Rooms are spacious with a high ceiling, some who face the street are noisy.Location is excellent, walking distance to most city attractions and close to worthy pizza houses and tratorias. most important, the staph is very friendly and welcoming,English fluent and will attend to all turist needs.

MediNaples location is great. The staff's advice on places to eat, visit etc were perfect. A great place to come back to after a whole days Napoli sightseeing.
