Very good place for visiting the city specially for muséums , the restaurant is quite pleasant for breakfast and dinner , unfortunately the building was in large works , but once at spacious room quiet and confortable: with clim, TV, ...staff is very professionnal and service very effective and gentle specially to join a near sure car park

I expected to be picked up at the airport, but it did not happen. Also when I went down to check-out, I did not know how to use elevator, which I need a coin to move it, so I had to go down with all my heavy luggages. It was unkind not to tell how to use it.

The place is very nice and artfully done. The location is good being close to the historical center and Pzza Bellini. A clear recommendation - just ask for a room facing the Fine Arts museum, otherwise it's a bit noisy in the room. But if you are tired (as you should be while travelling), you won't really mind. =)

The location of the hotel is convenient. We generally liked the rooms (quite spacious, nicely decorated) and were satisfied with the service. But unfortunatelly that's all as considering pros. The two very important disadvantages are: very noisy street and the pizzeria downstairs and a very poor breakfast - untasty croissant and poor coffee. We would not choose this hotel again

Nice room. Central location. Only stayed overnight. Had to wait for receptionist for 15 min to check out. But could have been a one time thing. The room was nice, in a central location of town. Easy access to train. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This was a very nice hotel. The staff were helpful and the food in the restaurant downstairs was much better than anywhere else in Naples and was not very expensive. Breakfast was a bit poor though. No fruit juice and the croissants weren't very nice.

Raffaele Trenchi

Outer part of the building looked run down, but once you got to the inside, it was actually quite nice. However, the establishment might need repainting and some spring cleaning to eliminate the smell. We were quite happy, though, staying in Locanda. The proprietress was very nice and helpful, location is also quite centrally located, and we got 20% discount for meals in its restaurant. Breakfast was simple, but the coffee was excellent.

Very clean and quiet, if no one is there, go to the resturant, same name. Ideal location to see all of Naples, the R4 bus is right in front of the place and the museum one block away. Just like Italians 50's movies, cage elevator, little balcony to watch people go by, fun. The rooms are tiny and the breakfast is skimpy but very good for price. Every one is very nice.

I highly recommend staying at La Laconda dell Arte. I found it excellent and not too expensive. The breakfast was rather poor (consisting of a Cappuccino and a Croissant)

Nice room, excellent location for exploring the good stuff of Naples on foot. We arrived late in the day - if you do and there is no one around to meet you, go to the Pizzeria below - they have the keys to the place. Would recommend the place to any of my friends who are heading to Naples.

I really enjoyed this place. It's very convenient in a nice part of town, right around the corner from the Musuem. The room was good sized with nice high ceilings and a charming balcony/window overlooking a side street. It matched my preconception of what a inexpensive european hotel should be. The breakfasts are at a restaurant around the corner, and were very good. There also was a discount for dinner, but that was a little less successful. The entry is a little subtle, still would recommend for reasonably priced lodging. +++

Locanda del Arte is a very pleasant place, very confortable for the money you are paying. Superbly decorated, situated near one of the oldest streets in Naples has the advantage of being right in the centre of the town. Best Cappucino in the morning

Friendly and well-run place which has a cooperation with La Tana dell'Arte, a restaurant downstairs which provides breakfast (included in the B & B) and gives a 20% discount on lunch and dinner to residents. They heroically even provided wine and hot (!) pizza during a total power cut which hit Italy on the third day of our stay. I would gladly book a room at the locanda again.

Overall, we were fully satisfied with our stay at La Locandia dell'Arte. The location is very central and convenient, easily accessible using public transportation. Breakfeast is rather good (for an Italian one). During our stay, we got a special 20% discount at the attached pizzeria. (We don't know it is valid only during August or all the year) The only concern was about the size of the rooms, rather small compare to what we found last year in Sienna for a similar price, and also the general level of maintenance of the building itself. These remarks seem to be applicable to many B&B in Napoli.

The room was excellent, the building charming and the location very good. The breakfast was quite poor, with the exception of a perfect coffee: a pity, the only negative point.

We stayed at one of the room in the first block on the left as you walked through the gate. You can still hear abit of car noise at night but then again try finding a quiet room in Naples is like searching for a needle in a haystack. The place was kept very clean, our room was quite spacious which was surprising for Europe pensione. The surrounding is very safe there are many places to eat around the area. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommends anyone visiting Naples to stay here. Also if you get there and the door is close, go to the restaurant behind the hotel which is also owned by the same people and get the key from them.

The welcome was poor because the Patrizia, the lady in charge was not there. I speak Italian but if I hadn't it would have been very difficult as the lady who met us could not speak any English. The outside of the building and the courtyard is not pleasant. Ugly and in bad need of repair. However the B&B itself is very nice and the rooms are clean and comfortable. You get 20% of your meal if you have luinch or dinner in the restaurant/pizzeria downstairs. The location is great for exploring Naples. The staff, Patrizia, and the other lady were very attentive and kind. I do recommend it, don't be put off by the first impression when you arrive at the address. The map that I got from the internet is very poor.

There was no garage near the B&B. The proposed garage was closed when we arrived and when it finally opened we had to leave our key... which gave us a rather uncomfortable feeling at Naples! We paid 20 Euros for 2 nights.
