Very nice B&B at good location, just 2 min. from metro station. The personel was friendly and the owner Franco was friendly and helpful. Our room was nice and clean, yet very small. The little balcony looked out to the garden at the back of the house. There was no much noise to be heard except on Saturday night. The breakfast was Italian style and very basic: a good expresso, milk and one pastry (cornetto or sfogliatella). A glas of juice or some yoghurt would make it more satisfactory.

I was staying in this B&B for my 2-weeks long business trip. I would definitely stay there again. La Dimorra is very nicely located, just a short walk from the metro station, in a very good neighborhood. Local restaurants are offering good service and a variety of local cousine. Do not be afraid with google maps photos - the whole building is maybe old, but its nicely illuminated at night, so it makes a pleasant place. The B&B itself offers a view to the beautiful garden, the rooms are clean and nicely furnished. Also there is an open access to the common kitchen with tee, coffee and beverages available. What's great about this place is its staff - although the owner does not speak English a lot, he is very willing to help and will for sure use all of his italian expressiveness to explain things to you. There is also one other person, who speaks english and is available in the morning. I loved the friendly atmosphere of this place. And there is one more great thing - the wifi is free and available for all your devices:). All together it makes a great place with extremely good value for money.

We liked specialy the sympathy and competence of the staff, and the location, witch is perfect. One could be surprised by the "lobby" down stairs and the stange elevator, but after the first impact, it all becames parte of the local color of Napolli!

My wife and I, 30-somethinger´s, made a Good choice for Naples in this quiet, clean and well-atended place. Forth floor in a five-story typical Naples Residential Building. Elevator. Views to garden from common living-room. Handy from airport taking metro from Central Station to Mergellina Metro Station. Excellent if you are planing to sail from Mergelina Port to Ischia, Procida... or take bus R3 (or others) for 15 min. towards Municipio Piazza if you are going downtown or departuring from Beverello Port to Capri. Breakfast just OK. In the neighbourhood find nice Bakery and fruit-sellers (via Giordano Bruno), and restaurants: downstairs´trattoria Vini e Cucina for 12€, many along the coastline -such as pizzeria Ciro- for 25€. Best in our weekend in Naples: walk along via Tribunali area and eat at Pizzeria Sorbillo or similar.

My husband & I stayed for nights in September 2007 on our way to Ischia. the hotel is situated in a convenient place to take the hydrofoil to Ischia (5 mins walk to Mergellina). We stayed in a double room with courtyard view so it was quiet if not scenic but that was ok as the road out front was a major road. THe room and bathroom were clean and nicely furnished. there was a few breakfast tables and kitchenette in reception and a balcony so you could smoke or admire the view! Coffee/tea facilities were available anytime. The two young ladies on reception were lovely, friendly and helpful with information etc and the young man who met us who took us to eat at his friends place downstairs. This "restaurant" was not the cleanest or finest we`d ever been in but the food was Ottimo! however, drink the bottled wine. OUR ONLY PROBLEM WAS FINDING IT! We paid the taxi driver 30 euros from Capodichino airport and luckily he was able to find it. The only sign is on the top floor and is unreadable from street level not that you will ever see it.

The room was very clean, good sized and there was plenty of hot water (many people complain about these three issues at other hotels, but not a problem here!). The room faced a main street and there was a lot of traffic noise, but it didn't bother us too much(and you are 4 floors above the street). You may prefer to request an inner, courtyard room. Paolo, the manager, is very friendly, helpful, and eager to please. The location was very convenient, about 150 yds from the Metro stop, lots of local restaurants and cafes, bakeries, shopping, and produce markets are within one block of the hotel. You are also 2 minutes from the bay and a beautiful walk along the harbor. The B&B could be hard to find, as there is no sign at street level (there is a small banner on a balcony, but it is 4 floors above the street and hard to see), and the way in is tucked back into a small courtyard, with the lobby at the top of the stairs/elevator. So, be sure to look for the street number as you walk down the street. There is an intercom on the street with 'La Dimora' shown on it, but we missed that. Take the elevator up with your luggage, as it is a 4 story climb to the B&B (elevator requires 5 cent Euro coin to operate). [Paolo, we also suggest putting a sign at the base of the stairs so new arrivals know they are at the right place and need to go to the top to find you.] We really enjoyed Napoli and would definitely stay here again.

Hotel location is very convenient since it is a quiet area and both tube station and ferries to all islands are very near. Hotel rooms are spacious, nice and clean; the breakfast on the balcony overlooking a palmtreesgarden is very charming
