Situated in the ancient town centre, between Gesù square and Dante square, Il Viaggiatore is few meters away from the Basilica and cloister of Santa Chiara and from the archaeological excavation of San Lorenzo maggiore, from the open air market of Pignasecca, from the archaeological museum and from the royal palace, from San Gregorio Armeno street and from decumans, from the underground Naples and from the Greco-Roman Naples.

Ideal place for a comfortable and sophisticated holiday at low fee, our B&B, furnished with antiques, is made up of three double rooms with private bathroom and a living room with kitchen for breakfast and entertainment.

Immediately connected, by funicular and Art Underground, with railway stations, with Mergellina harbour (terminal for islands), with archaeological, architectural and natural sites of Campi Flegrei (Solfatara volcan, Pozzuoli Rione Terra…) and of Vesuvian villages (Pompei, Ercolano, Villa Campolieto…), with Sorrento and Amalfi coasts, with Forte Sant'Elmo and the charterhouse museum of San Martino.

How to reach Il Viaggiatore Bed and Breakfast

By car
From the highway and the tangenziale towards Pozzuoli, exit at Capodimonte and head towards Corso Amedeo di Savoia, in the Museo Archeologico Nazionale direction. Streight on Via Pessina and Piazza Dante.

By train
From the central station at piazza Garibaldi, take the Metropolitana line 2 in the direction of Pozzuoli and exit at the first Cavour stop. Than take Metropolitana line 1 and exit at Dante stop.
From the Mergellina railway station, take the underground towards Gianturco, get off at piazza Cavour and proceed as above.
Otherwise, you can go by bus from Garibaldi Square to Via Sant’Anna dei Lombardi (line 201 during the day; lines 435 D or 449 in the night).


By airplane
From the Naples Capodichino airport take the Alibus shuttle bus and exit at the stop in Piazza Municipio. From here continue on bus n. 24 and exit at Via Sant’Anna dei Lombardi.

By public transportation
By train
