It is a nightmare for us of B&B"Donna Adelina". We met a train stike and check in 3 hours later than we expected. Before that, I called the host 3 or more times to ask them waiting for us. Policeman helped us find the B&B and found the ring downstairs was broken.Nobody answered. Luckily,we met another couple, who lived in the same B&B, they let us come in the room finally.

Big and clean room, in the center of Naples. The trainstation is 5 minutes away. The staff helped us to find good spot in the city. The breakfast is great. This room is a good choice, for a litte price !

We were very happy with the service. Chris found us when we were lost, greeted us, outlined everything we needed to know about Naples and the surrounding area and helped us plan out our stay, and generally made our stay very easy and comfortable. The room was nice, and breakfast was waiting for us outside when we got up! The "hotel surroundings" weren't much to speak of, but this is Naples.. I'm not sure there is a sweet spot. It was walking distance to the train station.

We only stayed in Naples to be close to the airport for our 6:40am flight. For that, the location is perfect. We were able to walk to the B&B and then take a $15 Euro cab ride to the airport in the morning. Chris speaks English very well, gave us maps and info, etc. The ability to use the computer for free came in very handy for checking in for our flights, etc. With the windows open, it is very loud from the noise of traffic. But, when we closed the windows it blocked out nearly all of the noise so that we could sleep. The B&B is well kept, but Naples is not. I would make sure you do your research on Naples before putting it on your vacation itinerary.

This B&B was excellent and exceeded our expectations, and even though it was difficult to find since we didn't understand Italian addresses until much later. It's a great location close to the main train station and bus station, perfect for traveling to Pompeii and Sorrento. Our fave place to dine was Donato's...just around the corner. You must pay cash, they do not accept credit card. Overall, they provide a nice breakfast and snacks available to the guests.

We chose Donna Adelina for its proximity to the central train station and the airport bus. We were completely satisfied with our choice. Our stay was comfortable and interesting too, thanks to our gracious hosts, who went the extra mile for us providing information and accommodating us in every way.

Good location, regarding the train station, but it´s not quite an easy-to-find place. No signs on the door and very dark piazza if you arrive at night. The B&B surroundings can seem very fearful, specially if it´s one´s first time in Naples. Staff is very young and friendly, but they usually aren´t in the B&B. The room was spacious and clean enough, althought not very soundproofing. In general, the place was welcoming and nice.

Not too far from the railway station, though the surrounding areas are very dirty - I guess a lot of Naples is not very clean. But the room was spacious and clean. The main historic areas of Naples is 10-15minutes walking distance away.

It was rather hard to find the hotel when we arrived after a long day travelling and the area didn't feel terribly safe. But once we found it the hotel was lovely - the room was spacious, nicely decorated, very clean and the service was good. The area wasn't the safest at night which is a problem in Naples in a lot of places anyway. There were plenty of restaurants within walking distance and we didn't have any problems walking back in the evenings. The old City Gate is just across the road so the centre is easily reached on foot and there are bus stops a few yards down the road from the hotel. Overall I really enjoyed my stay at the Donna Adelina and if I return to Naples I would be more than happy to stay there again.
