Bed and Breakfast Art Suite Principe Umberto - Naples

The hotel is very conveniently located near the train station, although the piazza in which it is located is not very pretty (a lot of trash around), and has some questionable characters (people calling to us for no apparent reason). I never really felt like it was unsafe, just not that inviting. Once we got inside the hotel, however, it was very nice with comfortable rooms. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful (we spoke Italian, so I don't how well they speak English). Overall a nice, clean, comfortable, convenient stay for a very good price.

I had a double room for single use; the B&B looks exact as in the photos. Excellent place to stay in Napoli as its easy to reach from the train station. For me there was only one problem:the wi-fi internet connection was not working in the room and i was advised to go to an internet point. Breakfast was really good (if you like sweet things) and a good coffee.

Very friendly and helpful welcome. The area around Naples Central Station is pretty scruffy but once inside,the hotel is spotless and confortably furnished.

Siamo stati al Bed & Breakfast Art Suite Principe Umberto a giugno 2009, per una sola notte. La posizione del B&B è ideale sia per chi arriva a Napoli in treno sia per chi arriva in aereo, vista la vicinanza alla fermata del bus navetta da/per Capodichino. L'accoglienza è stata professionale e nello stesso tempo calorosa. La colazione servita in camera ha reso più piacevole l'inizio della giornata.

The location was very easy for us to walk with our bags from the station.The area is not the best around the B&B. BUT once you are up in the B&B it is just lovely. A very pleasant place to stay, decorated beautifully. The lady we dealt with was amazing and very helpful she really went out of her way to make us feel welcome. A lovely breakfast was delivered to our room on a tray by her in the morning. Finding this B&B was a lovely surprise. We were pleased we stumbled across this.

We had a wonderful room with a balcony over the street. We stayed in Naples five days and felt really good. With a little knowledge of italian we were able to communicate with Flavia who is a very nice person. Service was good. The b&b is not in the historic center but on the othet hand it's near railway station and the surroundings are not so dangerous as someone might think. The bus number R2 goes from Piazza Garibaldi to historic center but it is also easy to walk.

Fuimos a este hotel pues ofrecia un pequeño apartamento, como mostraban las fotografías, pero , la realidad era distinta. Se trataba de una pequeña habitación con un frigorífico y una hornilla dentro de un armario...Como aspecto , postivo , su cercania a la estacion Circunvesubiana . Mi queja no es por el precio , sino por la publicidad engañosa.

We've stayed in Naples 3 days. our room was very clean and comfortable, with interesting badroom's solution upstairs and a smart little kitchen that gave os possibility to make breakfast selv. Young girl (it was very stupid did not ask for her name, sorry!) was very hospitable and friendly (very big thanks for DA MICHELLE - pizza was fantastic!). it is very good value for money.

This was a great B&B. The rooms were spacious and had private baths. The location is great. It's across the street from the bus terminal, you would think this would be a bad area but it's not, at least not what I saw. There is a parking garage close by but it's 14 euro for cars and 22 euro for SUV's and trucks. Oh, also the elevator cost .05 euros so make sure you have a few. Laura gave us some change everytime we left so we'd have some to get back up. I would definitely stay here again.
