B&B Augusteo - Naples

This was our second trip to Naples but our first time we've stayed the b&b. The rooms were clean but quite noisy. At night the noise comes from the scooter which speed around the side streets. The location is very convenient right in the city center and it is easy to reach by bus from the airport. Breakfast is only served in the room and is not amazing. There are quite a few shops around and a fridge in our room so we could buy some things to eat which was convenient. The owners were friendly and tried to be helpful. I would stay there again since the location is very convenient and the price was good.

This is a very nice place to be. The room is nice, clean, quiet (our window was giving onto an interior patio), the breakfast is served into the room, the staff is sympathic. When we arrived the first day we have been afraid of the bad condition of the building and the surroundings, but the B&B is totally renovated and the location in the typical "spanish district" is perfect to visit the city. The only problem is that we couldn't pay with the credit card because the phone line was out of order, as well as the wifi in the 2 last days of our stay.

The reception is not always opened this caused some problems when we tried to get information or any service.

The hotel is very clean and nice, but the rooms are in the third floor, the elevator is very small (one person and one bag). I was with my mother and was very stressfull to move the bags to the room. It's location is good, 2 blocks form a nice shopping stret but it's not nice to return to the hotel at night!!

We stayed 3 nights at this B&B on the edge of the Spanish Quarter. The street outside was narrow and scruffy between between tall buildings, hence my rating of 5 for surroundings, but if you like that sort of thing I would give it 10 for authentic atmosphere. Google Street View seemed to regard it as a no-go area but we felt quite comfortable there. Inside the B&B it was another world - clean trendy design, comfortable and spacious.

Beautiful spacious rooms, many with stove and sink, great value for place. Parking not hard to find and close, 20 euro a day. Great coffee in the morning, typical selection of packaged stuff, but they also brought a fresh cake, fruit was in the room on arrival.

It was our first time at Augusteo Bed and Breakfast. We found it absolutely perfect. The rooms are fully renovated, clean and spacious, and the staff we met was very kind and professional. We will surely go back there as we have the opportunity.

We stayed for two nights at B&B Augusteo in May. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, with good English, and gave us clear and useful directions for transport options. The B&B is within walking distance of the historic centre, and the ferry terminals, and the bus to the station. The area is gritty, and we were slightly cautious about walking around after dark, but we had no problems. The constant scooters are noisy if you leave the windows open, but the soundproofing in the room is good when they are closed. We enjoyed the very friendly informal restaurant almost next door.

This was my first time in Naples and it's a grity town that has been overtaken by motorbikes. With that said the hotel is located in heart of of town right behind the Auguseto furnicular (trolley). The area is not very clean but so is most of Naples anyways. The hotel staff was nice, helpful and friendly. I couldn't get the wireless internet to work but not a big deal. The bathroom was clean but very small and not recommended for large people. The hot water in the shower cycled from hot to cold but I just played with the dial to make it work. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was comfortable. The steet noise, mainly motorbikes, was loud and didn't seem to end util around 4 a.m. If you are a light sleeper you will have issues but for the price, it was safe, clean and private. I would recommend this place if your options are limited and don't want to get jammed in a room with six other sketchy people in some hostel. The street noise was anyoing but there are motorbikes everywhere and I think you'll have the same issues at most other hotels in the same price range. Transportation to/from the trainstation requires zigzagging between furniculars to the metro. The area looks sketchy but it is very close to the main strip and combined with the noise at night is the reason why I rate my overall stay to a 7.

Excellent place to stay, hotel staff very friendly. Big, clean, well decorated rooms in a convenient location. Difficult to find however so I would recommend a taxi to it first time round. My one and only complaint would be that it is slightly loud at night, only due to Naples being full of people on scooters who like to beep their horns! Could not fault the B&B and would definitely return.

My stay in b & b Augustus was perfect, comfortable double room and equipped with every comfort. qualified and polite staff. I'll come back soon.

Probably the best B&B I've ever been. Staff very kind, rooms clean and very comfortable. Location great (hard by the main monuments). Excellent relationship between price and quality. Higly recommended!

The B&B was really great. The room was very nice, clean, and spacious. The staff was very helpful suggesting places to eat and things to do as well as providing maps. The location was great- A 5 minute walk to the bus that runs to and from the train station. There were plenty of shops around and things to see. If I were to return to Naples, I would stay at Augusteo.

Excellent position to visit the beautiful city of Naples. From b&b Augusteo you can easily walk to the main attractions of the city in a few minutes. It is also close to public transport (buses and funicolare). Rooms are spacious and clean, but quite noisy during the day. During the night they are quiet and you can have a good sleeping. The staff is kind.
