We were quite impressed with this B&B and would have enjoyed a longer stay. The only problem we had was finding it. Obviously Italy could do with some directional signage tutoring, as we had the same problem throughout our trip. One other thing. The website does list "free parking", however the parking was on the street. It did seem secure, however.

Need clearer directions + map - we did own research but driving in dark into suburbs quite hard. Italian road signing usually poor. Host quite an eccentric who likes to chat but fine if you're not in a hurry for breakfast.

Our stay was at a quiet time in the calendar, and we had the place to ourselves. It was in a very peaceful location which suited us very well. We received the best of attention in this B&B.

Il proprietario è molto disponibile, non esitate a chieder a lui un consiglio su luoghi da visitare, ecc. Un ottimo indirizzo per chi è di passaggio a bergamo e ha una macchina. colazione a base di cose dolci ma, se richiesto, subito disponibile formaggio e salumi :-) insomma flessibilità.

The description to find the location in the village "Mozzo" near Bergamo is o.k. Unfortunately venere added a wrong plan. There is another Via A.Ponchielli in the center of Bergamo.

we had a warm welcome and a nice stay at "amici miei" in bergamo. the b&b is at a good driving distance to several touristic places and at the same time it is located in a quiet area just outside bergamo. unfortunately the house is poorly soundproofed and i don't want to experience a week in a booked up house. but all in all we had a nice stay. thank you!

My sister & I really enjoyed our stay in at Amici Miei. Rooms were simple but clean & comfortable, and family couldn't have been more welcoming & helpful - collecting us from & taking us back to the airport, lifts to the station, maps & directions... Will definitely go back.

A pleasant house. In a residential area with no indication outside that it took guests. Very convenient for visiting Bergamo. No local restaurants, etc. Welcoming owners. They no longer accept credit card payment.

Bergamo was quite a nice place to visit. Our bed and breakfast exellent. We really enjoyed the stay. If we come back we will stay at Amici Amei again.

Although we were only staying for one night as we were flying out the next morning, we were very impressed by this B&B and the surrounding area of Mozzo. We would definitely like to return and spend more time there. The family could not have been more helpful, for which we are very appreciative.

This lovely property is set in a village on the outskirts of Bergamo. We have nothing but the highest praise for our reception and treatment by Dario Giuppone. As this was September, we had an entire wing to ourselves, including a music room with piano! The parents were away on vacation, and the son, Dario, who greeted and hosted us, lives off the premises, so we felt like this was OUR villa! If you are renting a car, be sure to ask for driving directions before you leave. Otherwise, arrange for the owner to pick you up at the airport. This is a fairly new B&B, and taxis are unlikely to know how to get you there. If you know the way, it is only 15 minutes by car from the airport. Publice transportation (bus) is available from the airport to downtown Bergamo, and you can take the bus from there to Mozzo. With two busses, it's a long ride... Bus transportation between the villa and Bergamo is handy, stopping at the corner.
