The room that I stayed in overlooked Laval Ave. There was a nice patio/balcony, but the room was extremely noisy during the night. People speaking outside on the street and cars driving by were extremely loud and kept me up the first night of my stay. Also, I could hear the TV from the room next to mine quite clearly, which kept me up the second night. The room was clean enough. The room was quite small but did have a sink area which was nice. The shared bathroom was always clean as well. Staff is very nice and helpful. Overall it was an okay place to stay.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Bienvenue B&B. The owner, Carole, is extremely friendly and helpful with good tips on the local area. The location is fantastic with all that the Plateau has to offer within walking distance. The rooms were a little chintzy for my taste, and some of it looked pretty unglamorous. However, everything was comfortable and more than functional. For example, the showers didn't look high-tech, but were clean and actually very good... the bed spreads were ugly, but the mattresses and pillows were excellent. We started in an ensuite room but moved to a cheaper one with the bathroom in the corridor - but it's not shared with many people, was clean and nice. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely go back.

How to reach Bienvenue Bed & Breakfast
By car
From the Pierre-Elliot Trudeau (Dorval) International airport: take the 20 Est road and the 720 Est highway (Autoroute Ville-Marie). Take exit no. 6, pass 2 traffic lights and continue along 2 km&1.2 miles. Turn left onto Roy and right onto avenue Laval.
From Quebec: take the 20 Ouest highway and exit at Pont Cartier. Turn left into rue Sherbrooke, continue during 1,5 km&0.9 miles and turn right into rue Saint-Denis. Then left again into avenue des Pins and finally right onto avenue Laval.
By public transportation
Take the underground orange line and get off at the Sherbrooke station.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. In case your chosen hotel needs a deposit, this information will be included in the "Cancellation policy" section and the deposit will have to be settled directly with the pre-selected property. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE".
