The Villa is owned and operated by a young French-Italian couple, Anna and Jacques Ducroz.

We had a really wonderful stay here. The hosts Anna and Jaques did everything they could to make our stay memourable. The house was beautiful and furnished throughout with antiques. Breakfast in the morning was extremely flexible time wise and loads of food. I especially loved the homemade yoghurt and bread. Great facilities near by and great if you have kids. Anna speaks 4 languages fluently and will give every other language a jolly go go too!

Tiny B&B in small town. Really friendly and helpful couple. Handy for Brescia airport. We liked breakfast in the garden and the big old fashioned rooms. Bath towels a bit small. Montichiari itself has a small historic centre with a pretty cafe lined square near the centre and church and a Friday market. There is a good restaurant at Elefante hotel nearby and bus service to Mantua (great) and Brescia (why bother). However, the town is more of a tour base/ stop over for Mantua and Lake Garda than a destination in its own right.

A very friendly welcome from our host, who spoke excellent English was a big relief after the long drive. The large house is an oasis in the middle of Montichiari. You can park your car safetly off the street in the courtyard for no extra charge. The rooms were spacious and clean. When the weather is good you can take breakfast in the garden. As there are only 4 guest rooms the atmosphere is very friendly and has a personal touch. I can highly recommend this accomodation. So much so that I am willing to return there the next time we visit the Mille Miglia in nearby Brescia.
