Bed and Breakfast Meublé Evoè & Dimora del Corso - Montepulciano

We loved our stay here and the food at the restaurant was also great. A great stay in Montepulciano!!!

As we never lodged in town centers before we were a bit worried about parking our car and moving around, but on arrival to 'Meuble Evoe' we were supplied with a special permit to move around the old historic centre, and we always managed to park our car just outside the main door. The breakfast at Trattoria di Cagnano is also excellent and a special mention should be made to Francesca, who makes the best cornetti in Italy. If we visit again the area in the future, we will definetally return.

This was our only location that was a disappointment. There was no communication from the hotelier via phone or email the day of arrival so it made it difficult to find where to park and two other couples were simply waiting at the door for someone to show up and could not get any reponse either. The note on the door said something about 6:30. We walked around the village that has nice shops and some places to eat. When we returned at 6:30 and the other two couples returned shortly thereafter, I placed another call and the person on the line said something like, "Oh your there, 10 minutes" 15 minutes later an Italian only speaking man hurried to get us to our room. Thie first room the light didn't work in the bathroom, so he showed us to another room. Left us to get the other guests to their room and them we didn't see him again. We were hoping to get some information on wine tours since our very short emails before we left said that they would answer us about that when we got there. The walls were paper thin with activity throughout the night that kept us awake. Very disappointing stay and over $30 in phone calls. The location is in town, the breakfast was typical, and their credit card machine didn't work.

The rooms were lovely, and the hotel was at the top of the hill in Montepulciano. We also dined in the restaurant the evening we were there and the food was AMAZING. :)

We could not check in till 6:30 which wasted 2 hr of our time. breakfast is not served till 10am . room over restaurant and street so extremely noisy

One thing to mention is that you can only check in in the morning between 8:30 and 10 and then again at 6PM to 9PM. The bonus at this place was that there was free Wi-fi.

The treatment is very nice and cordial. Employees have a friendly conversation and they make you are very comfortable and likely to be there. The hotel is in the high in the Toscan hills where you can enjoy a wonderful sightseeing all the time into the city and around it. It surrounded by trees, vineyards, important buildings and churches which can teach you about the culture of the place. The hotel is very near of the Piazza Grande It is a magic scenary. It was chosen to film New Moon a film about vampires. The place is very antique and you can see only beauty and splendor in everywhere. It is very comfortable and has a very elegant and simple decoration but pleasant for spending a good days of holidays. It has only six rooms so it is very quiet.The room isn't very big but you have everything you need to rest and inclusive you have free wifi internet connection all the day. Globally it is very cheap. The food is very delicious, the hotel has its own trattoria called Di Cagnano, it prepares everything, pasta, bread, pizza and different desserts. They offer tradicional food as well as fish dishes and all this combined with excellent wines of the place. The place is spacious and you can eat comfortably and a good price. According to the season, you have your breakfast in the terrace. Breakfast buffet is perfect. You can drink and eat a variety of things, cereals, biscuits, yogurths, cookies and sweets with mermelade, etc... you can taste jam and baked bread recently, drink coffee, milk, orange juice or water. Really visit Montepulciano and stay at the hotel Meublé Evoè was a very enjoyable and unforgettable experience.

Great place to start your adventure into Tuscany

Very friendly staff, warm welcome, very nice ensuite for our 5 person family. Also worthwhile to mention the excellent restaurant below the hotel (same owners). Excellent value for money.
