Bed and Breakfast Il Vicolo - Milazzo

Very warm welcome from the owner Giuseppe. There is no reception, you have to call him upon your arrival and he's here within 5 minutes. Room clean and nicely decorated, pretty bathroom, nice little private terrace. The breakfast is served in a bar on the port which is very convenient for departure to Eoli islands. Proximity to Milazzo beach. No private parking, but easy to park nearby (in June).

Excellent place. See the very friendly Guiseppi at the Cafe del Porto when you get off the FREE bus from train station (ignore taxi guys) or ferry. He owns the B&B and will give you the info you need. It is an easy 15 minute walk with backpack. Great and stylish accommodation with wifi and a lovely common kitchen and patios. Convenient breakfast at owner's cafe near port for those travelling to Aeolians. Highly recommend a place for dinner called La Casalinga right in town off main drag. Seek it out for the pasta with crab meat! Delicious.

Very nice place. Rooms clean and comfortable.We were picked up at the port by Giuseppe,the owner,who was very kind to us. The day after Giuseppe took us to the bus station. Thank you for your hospitality!

The friendly pick up from the train station (outside the city centre) by the owners was much appreciated as the station is a 10-min drive from the B&B and taxis from the station go by a fixed fare. Located a mere 10-min walk from the city centre, this B&B with it's sparkling white walls complements the picturesque harbour city of Milazzo. The white interior & new furniture made the small guest room seem less cramped. The window opens out into a simple courtyard and from which, you can greet the neighbours! The spotless private bathroom down by the corridor includes a bathtub. The rooms are not sound-proof and one can easily hear the other guests' coming & going. Breakfast at the owner's habourtfront bar centrally located opposite the ferry / hydrofoil ticket centres is a nice option. Overall, a most enjoyable stay!

Il Vicolo is a lovely B&B in the heart of old Milazzo. We were picked up at the train station by Giuseppe as the train no longer stops in old Milazzo and taken to our spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated room. Giuseppe made excellent recommendation in terms of what to see and where to eat. Breakfast which included freshly squeezed blood orange juice was served in the coffee bar that he runs with his father which is in the parking lot of the ferries to the Aeolian islands. Giuseppe helped us again on our return from the islands when we needed help in securing an honest cabbie.

This lovely place is run by two very efficient and helpful young people. They arrived very soon after we have called, gave us any advice that we needed and made our stay very pleasant with their positive and smily attitude. I WILL CERTAINLY STAY THERE AGAIN WHEN I AM IN MILAZZO!

We stayed at Il Vicolo on our arrival to and on our departure from the Eolians, and it was an excellent find! Christina and Giuseppe built this b&b with their own hands, and the whole set-up is incredibly beautiful!!! they really think about how people can have a good time at their place, and every detail in the look of the rooms, the whole interior, and the enchanting atrium was made with love! we liked it very much, and our next milazzo-stay will definitely be there, much better than a hotel, and that is hard to find in a b&b in sicily! the owners also run a very good bar at the harbour, simple good food, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
