The B&B is in a really central area, near shops, public transportation and important places of interest. Camilla was very kind and hospitable. The room was simply furnished but very clean. I was impressed by how quiet and peaceful the house was. Although I was in Milan for work, I was also able to catch up on my sleep in the warm and comfortable room I was in. I hope to return someday soon. Btw- simple breakfast foods were made available, but if you're interested in a well made cappuccino, the Cafe' San Giorgio, across the street is a good place to go. "Gigi" the barman will greet you with a smile and great cappuccino with cocoa or cinnamon sprinkled on top!

The Bed & Breakfast was basically a bedroom with a bathroom, and a separate room with packaged foods, breads, a make your own coffee, 1 fruit, and some yogurt. My husband and I had to make our own coffee as that was the rule, and eat left over breads and 1 orange that was left out for us on the breakfast table. We met the owner upon our arrival, paid her, and never saw her again. For $97 Euros I would expect at least some sort of decent service where you at least wake up to a home made breakfast.

Our small family only stayed here one night and found it to be efficient for our needs. We probably wouldn't stay here again though. While Signora Lozza was friendly and helpful and email correspondence very prompt, the room was a pretty dated, but on a positive note it was large. The elevator was very small & we had to make 2 trips. Location was great. Would recommend for anyone just passing through for a night.

We found this place to be creepy. it is crammed with the owner's possessions, and there are signs posted about taking your shoes off to go in the bathroom, which is old and not all that clean. The shower is tiny. The owner is polite but seemed to be uncomfortable having us in her home. For the money we spent, not a good deal. Stay at Hotel Oro Blu if it is available.

A lovely, welcoming host who was always very helpful in this small establishment. This B&B provided a quiet retreat located on a busy main street and walking distance to many sites of Milan. A little difficult to find initially - helped make our stay even better!

We were very content. The host was familiar and very friendly. The location was central and still quiet. We loved to have breakfast half on the balcony in our room. There were fruits, juice and joghurt in the fridge; we liked the friendly atmosphere.

This is a suite with a very large bedroom and bath in the house of a delightful woman and her daughter. There really is no "public" place. The decor is not new, but is very comfortable. The kitchenette and table, both inside the suite were very handy for breakfast. The location between two tram stops and just a 5 minute walk to the duomo was perfect. The breakfast choice was good and coffee for the evening were very welcome. You must be comfortable though in someone else's house, as you are definitely staying in a B&B and not a more impersonal hotel.

In general this was a reasonable B&B to use in Milan. Room was large and breakfast good. The location was especially good - very close to Duomo and walking distance from most sites. Negatives were lack of TV in room - which may be mentioned but perhaps not clearly and to be honest I took it for granted one would be provided. Also its not really made clear that you are staying in someone apartment - where they live with their family and 2 pets. Athough they are quiet etc this should be made much clearer and I'm sure it would put people off. Owner also very attentive - but for me far too attentive. You cant put a foot on the floor without her appearing, goes in and out of your room far more times that I would find acceptable - even in the evening! She is always polite but feel as though your being watched really and certainly not private experience you would get at a hotel for example. If that bothers you then i would advise strongly against this place. It was OK for a couple of days but any longer would have been very irritating. In general had feeling that I was staying at a friends house with their nossy mother! Sorry but that is the truth.

Good service and heart-warming accommodation you would receive here. Also very good location for sightseeing and shopping. If you need full hotel services, you don't stay here. But if you would like to stay like Milanese, this place is recommended. Mrs.Lozza is very kind and warm. Staying at B&B Milan was one of my precious memories during my trip. You can use the Muji shop as your guide.

The room, though a little sparse, was clean and peaceful and the service was superb. Very friendly and helpful. Would definitely return if the chance arises. The area is only a short walk from the Duomo so is perfectly placed for a late night grappe and pastry after a long day's sightseeing!

Venere.com should check the relationship between price/quality. This is a kind of 18th century property, although the hostess is very polite. Let's not forget that we are not accomodated in B&B Milan for the politeness of the owner and the price 90 Euro plus 20 for the parking place is toooooo much.

Camilla and her daughter Manuella were most gracious and welcoming. They do speak English to the extent we needed. I spent 4 nights here with my 85-year-old mom and sister. We had planty of space in the "triple" which consists of 2 large rooms and our own large bathroom. Ample closets and places to hang things and do laundry (which Camilla offered to do!).It can easily sleep more people or children. I marked down on "public areas" as they are really non-existent here. The hallway is lined with books and shelves of other things, but plenty wide enough to get through with luggage. (The books can be useful and are there for the guests.) The hostesses live in the other half of the large apartment. They do have a yellow lab and a cat, which may follow them down the hallway, but do not go into the rooms. But you could pick up a few animal hairs from the common entry area. (Just an FYI for anyone with severe animal allergies.) The beds were VERY comfortable and the rooms each have 2-speed ceiling fans. Windows open onto the courtyard, so it was quiet. There is a table and chairs for eating, writing, map studying, etc. Small fridge had butter, milk, eggs, yogurt, fruit juices. There was bread for toast, coffee, teas, jams plus Camilla brought us fresh croissants a couple of times! There are plenty of dishes and glassware in the room so we could have brought in meals and saved. Via Torino is not so "touristy" in this area. The shops had good quality and lower prices. Any time we needed a taxi we could get one passing by in a couple of minutes. We said it would be called "Church Street" in the USA, since there is an interesting old church every couple of blocks! Bells don't start early so it was no problem. Plenty of soap, towels and large mirrors. Had a normal sized bathtub. A few short blocks away is a huge gastronome store called "PECK." Try not to miss this place. They have every delicacy you can think of. Some bars have "appy hour" which is a buff

Our intention of going to Milan was shopping. So this place was just perfect. The entrance from the main road is modern. It's right in the centre of the city. Coming down the unit, it's already shopping area. Duomo is just around the corner. We only used taxi service to and from the Central Station. The rest on foot. Thank you to Mrs Lozza and her daughter for being nice host. The breakfast things provided in the room was making us felt like home. Though in the heart of Milan, the unit was not noisy. We will definitely come back to Milan B&B if we decided to make a trip there again in the future.

The owner was extremely polite and helpful with email contact, and she made sure that we knew how to locate the her apartment in central Milan. Post-it notes were left on the bell of the main entrance and on the front door of her apartment. Fortunately, the owner was at home when we arrived. The apartment is dingy and extremely cluttered. We have never had to be in rooms which are so higgeldy-piggeldy (meaning utter confusion). It was like a storage centre for all different types of furniture, was unappetising because of lack of cleanliness, unappealing and untidy. The toilet was from 2 centuries ago, with a handle to operate. The breakfast was not as advertised. The major plus point was that the bed was extremely comfy. We asked for information about how to get to Linate Airport for our plane the next day, and the owner was not able ot give us this. We had to discover for ourselves which trams & buses to take and where. We gave the owner 150Euros but were not given a receipt. We were not asked to show our passports and there was no paper work. We feel that Venere should inspect this property spontaneously, with no prior notice to the owner, as we feel that it does not come up to the standards required for a Venere B&B.

We stayed only one night in Milan and wanted to be near sights and activities. Although within easy walking distance of the Duomo, etc., restaurants and bars nearby closed by 9:00pm making it hard to find dinner. Very comfortable home within walking distance of most places in historical district. Recommend visitors taking Hop-on, hop-off bus for general overview of historical and garden sites then go back and visit the places you want to. There is very nice little restaurant opposite Milano B&B which is open until quite late in the evenings - a boon when you have been sight-seeing all day! You can also walk to the Naviglio which is an attractive trendy place to visit. Staff and owner were very friendly and helpful, providing us with map of city and directions, calling a taxi for us. We didn't see a computer for use by guests which we did find at other cities, this would have been very nice for us.

The lady asked us to leave very early, knowing we are on holiday and would like to sleep late, as if she just wanted to get rid of us. For parking she only offered the 20 euro parking for the night and did not tell us another type of parking was possible on the streets with a special card to buy in bars or other places. For restaurants it seemed she only suggested places with which she had an agreement. Rooms were full of stuff everywhere, breakfast on your own. We did not feel welcome at all.

This is an old style B&B, ie a room in a private house. It is very well located in the center of Milan; clean, comfortable and quiet and Signora Camilla is an excellent and helpful hostess. The shared bathroom was no problem. For a simple B&B at 70 euro it may seem expensive, but everything in Milan is expensive, so it does represent value in this city. Highly recommended.

The best place to stay in Milan! Ever! Stayed at Camilla's place to start off our Euro trip and it was fantastic! Went to Florence, Pisa, Rome and Paris and by far this was way better than any of the hotels we stayed in. Sweet, caring, adorable Camilla embraces you like family. Food was more than enough, spacious rooms and shower, safe, cozy and very near the Duomo with a lot of shopping right outside the door.

Was our first time at a b&b..room was average size having all the amenities we required..nly problem was bathroom not in room, had to put on shorts to go to bathroom. also no formal area to sit down and eat breakfast. Parking was not on premises.Had to walk several blocks to get to car which was parked in a private parking lot costing 18 euros per day.many streets in milan are one way and it took forever to get back to the b&b which was on main stret. had to mount curnb onto sidewalk to take luggage in and out. overall stay was great. we were exactly where i wanted to be in the center of milan. hospitality and owners were professional and personable. would go back again.

This B&B was good fun; the comic decoration style, the large quantities of food in your room, the CD player with a selection of music, the red roses they put in our room on the second day etc. Instead of the normal buffet they leave loads of food in the room for breakfast - for example we had 3 types of bread and 4 types of yogurt! We had 2 large rooms. The hotel people are very friendly and do there best to help you in any way they can - including a warning about the men of Milan.

You know... book shelfs with small toys and dried flowers on them, rooms arranged with an extreme taste and warm, flowers on the window. We will definetely remember our stay there.

Mrs Lozza is a charming and helpful host. The rooms were well-furnished and attractive. The B&B is in a commercial area convenient to the basilica, the Galleria, and fashionable shopping areas.

Camilla is a very nice woman, and the property is on an excellent location, however there are some downsides to this B&B. The owner wasn't there when we arrived and when we asked if we could leave the bags there after checkout to pick them up at night before we left Milan, this was not possible. As on Sunday the lockers on the nearest station are closed, we had to travel to Stazione Centrale and queue for 15 min / pay 10 Euros to leave our bags there. All in all was a lot of hassle and an hour of time wasted. The regular check-out time (10am) was too early for us. We received a late check out (noon) upon request but we felt this was being really generous. The bathroom is very small. The breakfast is really friendly but we rather went out for a nice cappuccino.

This property has to be the best value for money in Milan. If you dont mind sharing a bathroom/toilet with possibly 3 other rooms, you cannot fault this property. Mother and daughter are prepared to do whatever to ensure you have a good visit to Milan. They even prepared dinner for us 1 evening and we shared it with them at their kitchen table. Camilla is the perfect host.

The owner is extremely welcoming and willing to help. Our room was comfortable, if a bit froo-froo for my taste. The self-service breakfast was opulant (coffee, juices, breads, meats, cheeses, jams, boiled eggs!), though you must gather what you want and take it back to your room, because there is no common space. The owner arranges a hefty parking discount to 18 Euros per day at a garage a block away. The ritual of the keys is quite charming. The location is wonderful for walking around the historic center of Milan. The biggest negative is that you are in an apartment with three bedrooms, sharing one small bathroom. Great Value for the location!

My room is next to the main street. I can't sleep all night because of the noise outside the window. It's hot to stay in the room. There's no AC, TV and private bathroom. I can't believe it's a room costs around 100 Euro.

I can only recommend Bed & Breakfast Milan. Very close to the center (approx. 5 Minutes to Duomo). The rooms are very clean and quiet. And Mrs. Lozza is helpful and friendly. She gives good tips where to go to eat in Milan and what attractions are worth to see apart from the main tourist attractions. In her huge bookshelf you can find a lot of interessting books about Milan, Italy in general and many other countries. So if you have time to read a little bit just check what's there! Breakfast was very tasty. You can get anything you want: coffee, tea, juices, milk, hot chocolate, toast, bread, jam, cheese, ham, cereals... just anything! I would definitely stay there again...

I booked the Bed & Breakfast Milan for a weekend trip for my parents. It was a birthday present and I have to say it was the best decision to choose Bed & Breakfast Milan. Mrs. Lozza really cares a lot for her guests. She also helped me a lot in advance preparing the trip for my parents. My parents loved staying at Mrs. Lozza place and we really recommend everyone who come to Milan to ask for a room at Bed & Breakfast Milan. It is not a luxury 5 stars hotel but a nice place with individual service and right in the city center.

It is no bed & breakfast, but rather a large appartment (3-4 bedrooms). Be prepared that you will be sharing the bathroom with all other guests and the owner (!]. Pro's are excellent location, good price and friendliness of the owner. Try to avoid the one room facing the main street - it is VERY noisy. The appartment was very hot, no AC.

The location is excellent-- very close to the center. This is a simple accommodation, not for luxury, but for a good value in an expensive city. There is no air conditioning, but the ceiling fans were adequate and the older building retained the coolness of the evening. Follow the directions to the location carefully and try to avoid the elevator.

Our stay at the Bed and Breakfast Milan was below average. On the confirmation letter it was stated that you could pay extra for air conditioning.....but only if you book a certain room which of course we didn't get. We didn't sleep it was so hot and stuffy. Bread and other food stuff was kept in the community bathroom - ick. It was a great location to see the Duomo and the hostess was very helpful but I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

An excellent place to stay in milan, right in the centre of everything with all attractions within walking distance. Mrs Lozza provides spotlessley clean rooms and bathrooms we cold not fault this bed ad breakfast at all, would definately stay here again. I hve read in other reviews that its hard to find which worried me a bit as we arrived early hours and I had visions of us wondering around for hours but its not, its a five minute walk from the Duomo, just past McDonalds on the left.

A little difficult to find. A sign somewhere at the entrance to the building would help since there is another B&B in the building. Perhaps on the door to the unit? I walked right by the door and even with the "Welcome" sign, there was still no indication that this was the place. While it is a "walk-up" unit, there is a small elevator. Otherwise a very nice place. Good breakfast and a very attentive host. I would recommend this property to anyone planning to spend time in the center of Milan. One caveat: It is VERY DIFFICULT to reach by car due to it being in the city center. Either get EXACT driving instructions and a detailed map or use a GPS navigation device.

The Milan B&B was excellent. Camilla Lozza and here daughter were outstanding hostesses. They made sure that we were very welcome and comfortable in their home. Our accomodations were as requested and stated, double with private bathroom facilities. The self-serve breakfast consisted of fruits, cereals, milk, juices, and coffee which were available all day to include an in-room refrigerator. I accidently left my jacket and a book which Camilla sent to me immediately. Camilla also made reservations for me to view the Leonardo Da Vinci's Last Supper. The location of this B&B is perfect and within walking distance for the Duomo, other sights and many excellent restaurants.

When they say bed and breakfast, that is truely all you get, a bedroom in someone's apartment and a breakfast. The breakfast is a typical fix it yourself, you share one bathroom with the other four rooms, which can get tricky. Given that it is a residence you have to time your arrival for when the owner is home. We were left waiting outside with our luggage. Logistics need to be improved. The price seemed high to me given what we received, but I think it is still less than if you had stayed in a hotel, and the location could not be beat.

Excellent place to stay. Camilla and Emanuela was very friendly and full of care and suggestion. They cocked a dinner for us guests togheter (wonderful and tasteful !) like in a party. Milan B&B is situated 5 minutes walking from DUOMO of Milano in a nice quartier full of all you need. The cleanliness of the room and the home is absoluthe. Charming furniture, friendly people, very large self contained breakfast, very silent night, and also this people is not only a owners, but they are very interesting people. Thanks for all and come to my home in Venice ( www.venicebb.it - www.veneziavaniglia.it ) because I wont to meet you again. Adriano

This B&B is in the heart of Milan, about two blocks from the Duomo, a short walk from the other main attractions, and in front of tram service. Signora Lozza was a delight to deal with; very accommodating and flexible. She arranged for convenient and reasonable garage parking very close by. She also accompanied us in our car until we were almost out of the city to make sure we knew our way to the airport. Breakfast is do-it-yourself, but very complete--coffee, juices, meats, cheeses, breads, eggs, etc. We wished we'd had a detailed map on Milan--it would have saved us a couple of hours driving on one-way streets trying to find it. Highly recommend it!

We had a lovely time in Milan. The property is centrally located, spacious, and well maintained. Parking is available very close to the B&B for a nominal fee. Finding the property may be challenging if you are driving a car, make sure you have a good overall city map. Breakfast was very good, outstanding pastries, and several options for self-service juices and java's. Recommend!
