Bed and Breakfast Villa Ricordi - Mestre

We stayed 2 nights. Excellent choice for visiting Venice. Bus stop & train station near, each way it takes 15 minutes to Venice. There are 2 parking lots nearby, however it is hard to find a parking place, but not impossible. The owners, Monica & Filippo, are very nice people, ready to help you with all the information you need. Nicely decorated rooms, very clean. Breakfast also excellent.

This was the first time I stayed at Villa Ricordi and I would definitely go back. Monica was extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. The B&B is in a great location of Mestre, walking distance from the train station and a stones throw away from the bus stop which made getting to/from the centre of venice very easy. I would actually prefer to stay here than in the centre of venice. Highly recommend this B&B.

While we intended to stay in Venice, it was overbooked and we were delighted to have access to Villa Ricordi at the last moment and to be located in Mestre. The Villa Ricordi is an attractive B&B that is run by Fillipo and Monica, who could not be more gracious and helpful as hosts. The rooms are clean and ample, the breakfast is very complete, Fillipo and Monica are very attentive to your every need and give excellent suggestions on all questions regarding transportation to Venice, restaurants in the vicinity, tourist sites, and just about anything else you need to know. We would stay there again and recommend it without any hesitation. The price was very competitive and the location is 50 meters from the bus stop for Venice, 200 meters from downtown Mestre and restaurants, stores, and internet cafes.

It was so clean and Monica and Phillippee are so nice and friendly.

Warm host (even with Monica’s broken leg), very handy buses to Piazza Venezia and a couple steps to the Railway Station. The apartment could not have been better. Great breakfast and has the best croissants.

Monica was great and breakfast was great and we will certianly stay there again.

Charming hosts, attentive to every detail. Beautifully central location (right beside st Peters) and very handy buses to Piazza Venezia,Colosseum and main Railway Station. The apartment could not have been better. Excellent value for money.

A great place to stay. Warm host and great location, in 5 min you can be at the train station and from there in 10 min in Venice. Very easy access to the highway too. Parking space right next to the B&B. PS. Great breakfast and has the best croissants !!!

What a delightful place. After a long journey we were greeted with a smile and cheerful welcome. Our room was immaculate and so clean and comfortable. We slept like a dream. Breakfast was a continential style breakfast with lovely coffee. Monica made us so welcome and also our dog Denny. She even invited us for coffee on our return journey. We would definatley recommend this accommodation. 10/10 Thankyou Monica and Phillip ....Denny says Cioa !!!

Monica was very welcoming and we enjoyed chatting with her. This made our stay very pleasant. Her help made visiting Venice easy.

Good idea to contact hotel prior to stay to advise of arrival time. We did not and had trouble getting into the property. There was road noise. Proprietor was great as were the rooms and breakfast. Close to bus line to get to Venice proper and train station walking distance.

A wonderful and helpful host. Very clean room, private bathroom and close to bus and train. I would hightly recommend Villa Ricordi.

Lo primero que hay que decir es que esto no es un hotel, se parece más a un aparthotel. El dia que llegamos no habia nadie tuvimos que esperar hasta las 8 de la tarde para entrar. Desayuno escaso y mal preparado (capuccino recalentado en microondas). La habitación triple que pagamos se componia de una cama de matrimonio y una cama plegable de muelles con un colchon de espuma de poliuretano de 10 cm., así como para un niño de 7 años. Como solo ibamos a estar una noche no hicimos ninguna reclamación, pero no volveré en el futuro aquí.

Sistemazione comodissima per chi arriva in treno a Mestre. L'autobus per Venezia è a pochi metri dal residence. I proprietari sono gentilissimi, le stanze e tutta la palazzina sono stati appena ristrutturati. Siamo rimasti molto molto soddisfatti della nostra scelta e sicuramente ritorneremo.
