Nice surroundings in the country and close to the airport. The room was spacious and looked clean but it was not. There were big BLOOD STAINS on the sheets.Upon arriving the room was warm ,but when we returned in the evening the heat was off and the room was freezing cold so we slept with our clothes on.At breakfast one has to ask for cofee butter bread etc. Conclusion : it could be a nice hotel if they were more professional.

Quiet country setting, close to the airport but far from Mestre station. Easier to get to from Venice by changing buses at the airport. Then phone the owner for pick-up. Friendly, helpful owner. Not so good if you want to go out at night, long walk from bus-stop at the casino.

We chose this B&B for it's location to the Venice airport. We had disembarked a cruise ship and had to spend the night as our flight was the next day. Room, bed wise, was comfortable, BUT THE ROOM HAD NO AIR-CONDITIONING. It was 90+ degrees and we were miserable. We did nothing till dinner. Then walked to a pizzaria, close by. Food was excellent. Could never stay at this B&B again, unless it had A/C. It was just too hot. The breakfast provided was excellent and the owner drove us to the airport, which was very kind of her. We were grateful and gave her a gratuity.

This was my second time at this hotel, because I like this place, I like Signora Cristina - the owner of Venezia Verde, brave and friendly woman. Thank you, Signora Cristina, we had really nice time in Venezia! I hope I return there again.

Excellent throughout, made very welcome once we found our way, we made booking from hotel the previous night & could not print the map. Hand sketched map was not really sufficient, it should be noted that you turn off the SS14 for The Casino, then look for the Via Litomarino.

The Verde Venezia is a wonderfull place. everything was very cleam, new, sillent and confortable. It was also very well decorated. The breakfest was very nice too. High recomended for who have a car, because its not easy to reach there by public transportation. Park your car near a bus station in a village near the B&B and reach Veneza by bus in 20 minutes for only 1 Euro.

It was very difficult to find by the directions we had been given and we even had computerized maps. I did like the fact that it was out in the country--very quiet, and the outside breakfast was very nice.

Ecxellent stay, spacious and comfortable. However not as near (walking) to airport as I thought. 5 minutes by car bu 1h20 by foot. Still worth it. For thos wanting to walk from airport to B & B. At entrance from aitport, turn right walk for +- 15 minutes to a big circle. Turn right, continue wlaking for +- 30 minutes to casino turnoff. Turn left, walk for +- 15 minutes to small church, turn left. Another 15 minutes and youre there.

Good service, nice rooms, nice hotel but very, very, very bad location. It includes breakfast, but it is a jr. one. Only a croissant and a coffee or tea. We got two rusty bikes to go to have dinner to a restaurant 2 or 3 km away. We took the road which was two ways with no illumination, and got there. Nice dinner at the restaurant.

The worst experience ever made with hotels! The long way from piazza roma via airport (bus 5) to the bus stop "near" the hotel (bus 15)- just a bad joke (1 1/2 hour). But arriving and nobody there although phoned twice - bad! The welcome of the Hotels "lady" finally extremely unfriendly, unkind , reproaching late arrival (21 o'clock) and early departure (5 o'clock),although mailed. No shuttle service as mentionned - taxi was 20 € to pay supplement! Better stay in Venice center and take a taxi from there. No discount for not taken breakfast - I should come at 8 o'clock! I propose to choose another location than this, if you need a shuttle service or/and a nice welcome!

Wonderful place to stay, close to Venice, very nice host. However it took me an hour to find it as the map part of the website was not working. I had downloaded directions from another traveler who had the same problem but we still got lost. Met some really nice locals though!

The rooms were fine, but other rooms were very close and other people came in very noisely while we were sleeping. It is also far away from any restaurants and we had to walk quite a bit to get dinner. She was supposed to pick us up, but apparently she claimed that she misunderstood and thought she was taking us two hours later. Language barrier possibly?????? We were also told that they would shuttle us to the airport. When we arrived she told me she would order me a taxi for 20 Euros. As it turned out the taxi driver charged 25 Euros. This was supposed to be 5 minutes from the airport.

Of the four different lodgings we used in Italy, this was by far the easiest to find. Very close to airport and casino, public transportation widely available to Venice. Wish for two things: that the web site had indicated there would be a small fridge in the room, and that the breakfast (wonderful coffee!) had included some protein (cheese, etc.) However, great value for the money, and highy recommend it.

Verde Venezia is located in the countryside of Mestre, a car is a must. It is convenient to major highways and the autostrade; Venice is a short, easy drive away. With the exception of a couple big spiders in our room (hey, it's in the country!), our stay here was fine and it is a good value for the money. The kind owner let us use her internet for free as internet cafes are impossible to find in Mestre.

We got there by bus late in the evening and the owner kindly came to pick us up at the bus stop. Everything was fine except that we had a ground floor room, which, although the heater was on, took quite a while to heat up. So we slept with our sweaters on...

As advertised, very convenient to the airport, though taxis to and fro were expensive (20 euros). Rather paltry breakfast, but typical of Italy. All in all, good value. I'd stay there again.

It's true that it is clearly stated on the website that this place is near the San Marco airport, but I only had our reservation confirmation page with us and it had been close to two months ago that I had chosen the B&B and booked. We drove into Mestre from Padua hoping to find a map - this is easier said than done on a Sunday afternoon. Luckily we were able to buy one at the only shop that seemed to be open. Once we were there, this place was excellent. The owner was friendly and helpful and was able to give us bust tickets to get to Venice. This was the nicest bathroom we had experienced in four weeks of travelling through France and Italy!! If you have a car and need cheap (but nice) accomodation near Venice, this is really good.

BB is close to airport. Bus service is about 1/2 mile away as well as restaurant. Great place if you have a car or don't mind walking to the bus as we did. The folks that run the BB are very nice and took us to the airport the next day. Would stay here again if my travels take me to the Venice area.

A fantastic location about 10 minutes from San Marco airport, yet in the quiet countryside. The host was very friendly, spoke English, and lent us an alarm clock for our early morning flight. An excellent pizzaria is just down the road. To find the B&B: take Hwy. SS14 North of airport; turn left at "Casino" sign onto via Paliaga, then left onto via Litomarino. B&B is clearly marked on the left. Very clean and modern, a great location to begin/end your trip.

This is a modest but pleasant and comfortable B & B with very convenient location very near the airport with friendly hostess and low cost. The problem was finding it, as many others reported here and indeed for all of Venice. Anticipating this problem from others comments, we requested detailed email directions for the facility, only to be told, its only 5 minutes from the airport, which is true but does not help the search process. So here are my directions: Follow highway signs to the entrance to the San Marco airport on Highway SS14. Drive 1 mile north of airport and turn left onto via Paliaga, the Casino road. Pass the Casino di Venezia and in 1/4 mile turn left onto via Litomarino. Look for B&B on left.

We had requested and were told that we would have three single beds. We had a double bed and a single bed. Not much space for eating breakfast in the room. At a bed and breakfast had expected to be able to eat at a table or community room outside of our bedroom. Proprietor was very friendly.

We had a wonderful experience staying at Verde Venezia. Our room was spacious and we enjoyed having breakfast each day outside under the canopy. Our hosts were very helpful and even made reservations for us at a site in Padua that we wanted to see, but could not seem to make reservations for, online. The building is out in the country, a good distance away from Venice and/or the bus/train/boat transportation hubs, so this is not a place to stay if you do not have a car at your disposal. We appreciated the location because it was nice and quiet and away from the crowds. We would definately reccomend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone who is looking for a good value, away from the hustle and bustle of Venice.

I highly recommend staying at Verde Venezia if you are visiting Venice. It's a terrific value! The hotel is an old farmhouse in a beautiful setting, which is a nice break from the crowds (and prices!) of Venice. Our large, clean room was beautifully decorated with a very nice bathroom. The only negative was that the people staying above us had their t.v. turned up quite loud late into the night and we could hear it. My husband and I were departing from the Venice airport (only a 5 minute drive from Verde Venezia) at 6:30am, so we didn't get to try the hotel's breakfast. The night of our arrival, the owners called to book a taxi to take us to the airport at 5:00am the next morning. When they discovered that all the taxis in the area were already booked, they drove us themselves! We were absolutely delighted with both the hotel itself and the level of hospitality extended to us by the owners. Verde Venezia is a real find. It's outside of Venice, but the owners make it very easy to get to the hotel. Just take the bus from the Mestre train station to the Ca Noghera stop (the last one) and they'll pick you up. So easy!

What a wonderful place in the country side so near the airport. I couldn't believe how close to the airport we were and how quiet and nice the place was for a reasonable price. The family who own and run it were very nice. Make sure you have good directions. Tourist office gave really bad ones!
