Minihotel IRIS - Maiori

The Minihotel Iris is a modern structure launched in 2009, located far from the traffic noise and just a stone’s away from the beaches. It is the result of a conscious project and of much enthusiasm put into the restoration of the ancient mansion house of the Marquis of Mezzacapo, a nobleman of Maiori.

You can choose among six bright, cheerful and colourful double bedrooms. They are modern-styled and have porthole windows despite the classical wooden beams in the roof, thus creating a warm, cosy and extravagant environment.

Any room is unique, named after flowers whose colours and character reflect those of the walls and of the clapboard covering of the bathrooms. They all have an independent air-conditioner, a digital cable LCD TV set, free broad band Internet connection, direct dial phone, a small fridge and a 220/110 volt international plug adaptor.

All rooms are furnished with private bathrooms, a hairdryer and either a shower or a whirlpool bath.

On awakening enjoy a leisurely breakfast in your room at the time you prefer, which in summertime can also be served on a common terrace if you like.

All guests can spend downtime by a wide solarium-terrace and may also park their cars in a safe secure place. The clean smell of a lemon field close by can alternatively bring you back into harmony with the local suburb landscape.

How to reach Minihotel IRIS

By car
Route 1:
At Caserta Sud take the highway A30 (SA-RC), exit Pagani-Nocera and follow signs to Costiera Amalfitana.
After crossing the Pass of Chiunzi you reach Maiori.

Route 2:
Continue on A3 to Salerno, exit at Angri.
Follow the signs to the Amalfi Coast you reach Maiori through Valico of Chiunzi.


Route 3:
Continue on A3 to Salerno, exit at Vietri sul Mare and follow the Amalfi Coast. After 15 Km you to Maiori.

By train
Get off at Central Station of Salerno and take the SITA bus to Amalfi direction Maiori (obtain tickets on sale at the kiosk station).

By airplane
Naples Capodichino airport take the shuttle to Napoli Centrale railway station, take train to Salerno Central. From Salerno train station take a SITA bus to Amalfi direction Maiori.
