Bed and Breakfast Palazzo Cocò - Maiori

Our first time in Maiori (which is next to Amalfi) and what a great stay at Palazzo Coco! Incredibly nice staff (a family), very nice apartment with excellent, modern and clean facilities, very cozy, elegant... If you are willing to climb some stairs (while looking over a splendid gulf) then it is really worth it (not to mention the home-made "cornetti" and cheese-cake)! Will surely return there and I recommend them for everyone to experience.

This B&B was beautiful. The owner was kind and generous. The B&B is a little hard to find and is at the top of a lot of stairs. If you don't mind a hike, it's really a great place to stay.

Nach dem etwas mühsamen Aufstieg über die 150 Treppen wurden wir mit einem wunderschönen Zimmer mit Terrasse mit Blick aufs Meer belohnt. Der Vermieter war überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir können dieses B&B zu 100% weiter empfehlen, jedoch nicht für ältere oder gehbehinderte Leute.

On arrival we were a bit daunted by the 150 stairs from the church (another 111 to the main road/high street), but it was worth it. The room was amazing, it was like a self contained flat, with a brand new kitchen with all the mod cons and a beautiful bedroom with ensuite bathroom. The manager was fantastic and nothing was an effort, he booked taxis for us, helped us with our cases and generally went out of his way to do anything for us. He had information packs ready for us on the first morning with maps and bus timetables which proved to be very handy! Breakfast was fantastic - especially if like me you are a carb lover! Overall if I go back to the Amalfi coast this is definately where I will stay.

I spend just 2 nights there, but what a beautiful nights..great view from terrace, very good breakfast, excelent hospitality, good quality a furnished, very clean and fresh bathroom, with an interesting colours and a very modern shower cabin...I'ts about 350 steps between the center and the hotel but, when i come in, mr. Toni it was very generous and he take our baggage...i put some photos, i hope it's useful for future tourists...

This bed & breakfast was delightful because is was situated in with the local properties, set into the hillside with a spactular view over the resort and sea. Our breakfast of was baked fresh every morning with baking smell wafting into the room delightful. Every evening we dined in the local village and there was plently to choose from. One delightful thing about this was you were not hassled by traders trying to sell you items while you were eating, as in other resorts. The local people were frindly and helpful.
