The sea and the mountains are within easy reach of the guest house. Daily trips can be easily made to Florence, Siena, S. Gimignano, Volterra and other towns.
Great care is taken in preparing breakfast, personally made by the owner (Marta’s breakfast). Breakfast is served in the sunny veranda or in the garden. The Villa has a private car park. TV and reading rooms are available even to meet other guests and to plan daily excursions. Moments of relaxation can be had in the spacious and well kept garden. Vegetarian welcome. Courses on local cuisine and pictures restoring are available on demand. Private dinners and parties can be organized on request.

Marta Guest House was my and my wife's 2nd leg of our honeymoon (6 days). Marta and Roberto were wonderful hosts. Our first night, we didn't get in until late. Marta served us a platter of cheeses, bread, salami's, olives, dessert and a nice bottle of local wine. A terrific start and welcome. The location is 20 mins away from Pisa and 15 mins away from Lucca, both with outstanding surroundings. This was also a perfect base to visit Genova, Parma and Firenze. Roberto was an encyclodia of information and local eateries with Marta handling all the breakfast goodies. A local restaurant, La Cecca, defined Tuscany at it's culinary best. Marta Guest House was a surprise treat in the heart of Toscana.

We were sorry for staying only one night, for our daughter (17) it was enough ;-) marta`s secrets are really worth to be tasted! next time we will stay more days to get more information from roberto about the surrounding, the wine and so on... gn

The Marta Guest House is wonderful - from the warm welcome to the beautiful rooms. The breakfast just keeps on coming and is served in the garden on fine days. The guest house is approx 20 minutes drive from Pisa airport and with free parking it's a much nicer option than staying Lucca. Highly recommended. Hope to return one day. Thank you Marta for making my stay so good.

Marta Guest House is a wonderfull villa with great owners. They were very nice and helpfull. We appreciated especially their friendly and cordially approach. Rooms are stylishly decorated, look very nice, towels are changed every day. We especialy enjoyed home-made breakfast (cakes, marmelade, juice which Marta prepared). We recommend this villa to anyone, who likes nice countryside, stylish house, quite surrounding and friendly treatment. Marta, Roberto and Giorgio - thank you very much!

We enjoyed two fantastic days at Marta Guest House, we would have stayed longer! The B&B is beautiful, with decorated walls and ceilings; the rooms are spacious and spotless clean. How to reach Marta Guest House
By carComing from the centre of Lucca follow the directions for Pisa SS 12 Bis for about 7 km beginning from the Autostrada (motorway)A11exit.
The SS12 Bis goes across the village of S:Maria del Giudice, you will find the village centre on the right coming from Lucca following the signs for S:Maria del Giudice, the Guest House is about 300 metres from the centre of the village, Via del Querceto is on the left of Via 24 Maggio which from the village centre goes towards Catro.
Coming from Florence follow the A11 in direction of Pisa Nord exit Lucca Est. Coming from the opposite direction, from Pisa Nord or Genova/Viareggio A12, exit Lucca Ovest and follow the directions "tutte le direzione" until on your right you see directions to Pisa to be followed until you find the sign for S.Maria del Giudice.
By train
Take the line Florence-Viareggio or Pisa-Lucca get off at Lucca station. Possible transfers on request to and from Pisa Centrale, Viareggio or various Florence stations.
By airplane
Pisa Airport G.Galilei (only 20' min. from the Villa) or from Florence Airport A. Vespucci. On request transfers to and from both airports.
