Bed & Breakfast La Corte - Capannori, Lucca

Il piccolo soggiorno a Capannori è stato molto gradevole.Abbiamo trovato una struttura molto confortevole, persone disponibili e qualità/prezzo direi veramente molto buona. Ci torneremo di sicuro perchè ci siamo trovati molto bene.

I would have preferred a room with a non-shared bathroom. But this hotel is cheap, and close to Lucca downtown

We decided to stay out of the old city at Lucca, preferring a counrty-like setting not too far from the town. That is exactly what we got. We had a great stay at Le Corte, adding an extra night. The owner Senora Anna is friendly and very helpful, although her son (I think) Guiseppe speaks better English. Le Corte corresponded efficiently by email, Guiseppe met us upon arrival, and made us feel very welcome, even upgrading our room for no extra cost as it was available. Our only criticism is that we did not receive much in the way of maps & directions when booking, which made it difficult for us to find the first time. No worries after that. Le Corte is an easy 5 - 10 minute drive from Lucca. The top room is well presented with a beautiful view accross the local countryside. It is quiet, clean and comfortable, and Senora Anna provides breakfast. Well recommended.
