A clean and quiet b&b at only 5minutes walking from the center of the town; old-fashioned furniture, but everything works fine; very kind staff...in my opinion, an excellent relationship between price and quality(is really clean)/position.

Wee had a very nice stay there, and were glad for the service. wee will be back that's for sure.

The house is below my expectations. Takes 8 min walking to arrive to the city walls and 15 min to arrive to the interesting part of city center area, BB is close but not that close. No AC, no swimming pool. Good breakfast. No shadow in parking area. Owner not empathic at all, that cause us a lot of troubles. Nice staff.

A spacious 2 rooms apartment for a family. Excellent location in a very quiet residential area and at walking distance from the historical city

Excellent location, nere the city, with car park, very nice welcoming, helpfull to indicate "where to go". Will be our choice if we come again to Lucca.

Rest In Lucca provided a very good base to explore the surrounding area. We received a very hospitable welcome and would stay there again and have no hestitation recommending it to others.

Gabriella,created a homey atmosphere.She did all she could to make us comfortable.It was right outside the walled city so we could easily walk in.

Spotlessly clean and fresh smelling. Breakfast area welcoming and breakfast nicely presented. Owner there is morning to offer and make your beverage of choice. Great location only 10 minute walk to the gates and a place to leave your car all included. We highly recommend Rest in Lucca.

Nice option outside of Lucca but close enough for easy access and with good parking. What's not to like?

This was a gem! Just outside of the walled city with free parking! The breakfast was very good in a charming setting. A cozy B & B feel. Our room was super large with it's own computer! Manuella, the owner's Mom, is a perfect hostess! Also close to Pisa, the coast, & Florence if you have a car. A great 3 nights.

Great location and owner was lovely, very helpful. Lovely breakfast, rooms are beautifully decorated. Would stay there again. Lucca is a lovely place to visit.

Altogether a lovely stay, it was only a 5 minute walk to the bus station within the walls of Lucca. The room and bathroom were spotless. Signora Venturino was so helpful; when I asked for a cup of tea she arranged for us to have tea making facilities in the room. She was also very knowledgable about the area, restaurants etc. and we were able to borrow umbrellas which we certainly needed. The only downside was the size of the breakfast room, on each morning we were there we couldn't have breakfast when we wanted it - we had to wait for space to become available. I understand that this was because they would normally set up breakfast outside but because of the rain it was impossible.

I would happily book a room there again. It's handy, friendly, spacious, clean and decently priced.

I was delighted by our stay at Rest In Lucca. The owner is a very warm and welcoming person and the adjoining rooms we had were marvelous. They were beautifully decorated and the bed were very comfortable. The B and B is well within walking distance of the old walled city. The breakfast provided by the owner was great. I would love to return and stay a week next time.

The bed en breakfast is locateted near the maingate of the innercity of Luca. Nice place to stay free parking and verry helpful people._

We had a wonderful three days at Rest in Lucca. The owner and staff went out of their way to be extremely helpful. We'd definitely stay there again on a future trip to Lucca

We had a wonderful time in Lucca and were especially pleased with our accommodations. The B and B was exactly what we needed at that point in our trip- private, pristine, and a great breakfast to start each day!

The room was very spacious, over the road from the main house, and has a laptop and internet access included for use by the guests, which was a real bonus. Giovanne was very helpful, suggesting places to eat and the best way to access the city. The walled city was in easy reach of the B&B and it was no problem walking to where we wanted to go. The breakfasts were plentiful and the fresh pastries were delicious. We had a delightful 3 day stay and would highly recommend Rest in Lucca.

Manuela was a delightful lady. The breakfasts were delicious, we loved our rooms. We never met her husband, which was odd, and I even saw him and said hello in Italian but he never responded. His artwork is displayed throughout the place, but I find it odd that as the owner of a bed and breakfast he does not avail himself to the clients whatsoever.

This is a wonderful place to stay. It is very quiet and is just a few minutes outside tthe walls of the historic city of Lucca - itself wonderfully situated for sea. skiing and Florence. Transport easy between airport and Lucca by bus or train - and cheap!

Excellent location to access old Lucca, the entire house is divided up into the "B&B" Rooms, while the owners live across the street. Large rooms, laptop with internet access, honor system bar, large breakfast with wide variety of food and drink. Be aware, the back of the B&B borders a school which can be noisy starting at 07:30. book street side rooms if you want to sleep in late.

After a long day on the train, it was a relief to find somebody who really wanted me to relax and enjoy my stay. They gave us a quick tour of the kitchen and showed us our room. They answered all our questions and then the ones we should have asked but didn't think about!! It was a short walk to the city center.

In october we need some more heating of the room!

Nice little spot. Like how close it was to the old town and also the train station. Not so great if you don't have a cell phone but there was a back up for that. Very nice having a laptop in the room. Very friendly staff for breakfast and nice to be able to leave the luggage somewhere secure after checking out. Thanks - really like Lucca! Will be back

The staff was most helpful and went out of their way to suggest good restaurants and interesting sights. The breakfasts were excellent and plentiful. The room was clean and spacious and we were delighted to find a computer with internet hook-up (unexpected bonus). We highly recommend this cozy and comfortable and affordable B & B.

Rest in Lucaa was the best. The room was clean, bright and spacious with the added bonus of internet access from the room. All the staff were very friendly & helpful. Manuella was always willing to advise on trips etc. We would love to visit Lussa again and would certainly stay at Rest in Lucca - it was so convenient for the town of Lucca & buses for Pisa, Florence etc. A wonderful holiday.

You may get it cheaper, when you book it directly...

We really enjoyed our stay at Rest in Lucca. The owners were very helpful and breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The room was clean, simple and comfortable and the area is quiet. I would stay there again and would reccommend it to friends. It is good value for money too in what is an expensive destination. I would point out that it is some walk to the CENTRE of Lucca, although only 10 minutes to the city walls. This means that one is unlikely to pop back for a rest , and this did make our days very tiring. For that reason only I would look for a B&B inside the walls, but if I couldnt find anything I would stay at RIL without hesitation. There are no public areas other than a small conservatory and tiny garden area unless you are lucky and get a room with terrace or balcony. We requested this but did not get it.

Fantastic B&B, not too far from the centre of Lucca. Friendly staff, nice rooms, great breakfast. Can't fault this place.
