Bed and Breakfast Lucca in Villa - San Donato, Lucca

Very close to the city walls and plenty of parking space. Staff present were very helpful.

Had GPS; hard to find. Others there also found hard to find. No person to meet, only there after late afternoon. Room OK, thought it would be nicer. Close to wall which was good. Good parking. Other people staying 5-6 nights. Probably wouldn't go back but good price. Breakfast fairly good too. Nice manager when she was there.

We had a wonderful experience at Lucca in Villa. Our room overlooked the fountain at the around about. The employees there, Alessandra and Ranca were wonderful.. helpful and friendly. The Villa was a five minute walk from the Lucca Wall. Breakfast was good, meats, cheeses, breads, coffees, juices,and more. We were on vacation.

Great little guest house handy for the gate to the old city, and we loved the free bikes. Cycling around the top of the city wall is a must.The staff were pleasant. Breakfast was basic Italian buns/jams/hams coffee etc. Good looking Villa with some parking.

Comfortable accommodation, convenient to Lucca, friendly, helpful staff.

Perfect location to visit Lucca as it is very close to the center. Room was large, very clean and had a lovely shower. Sadly stayed only for one night. Lucca needs more then a day to visit and would not hesitate to stay here again. Only comment is please fix the front door lock, luckily another guest let us in when we came back from dinning in Lucca

Instructions on how to find this B&B weren't clear and we had to be directed there by a local.However once found it was very close to the main entrance into the city and also to the bus station which is located just inside the city walls. It is not close to the railway station. The breakfasts were very good with fresh croisants and pastries and unlimited coffee. The rooms were a little noisy however our main complaint was that each afternoon the owner conducted extremely loud mobile telephone calls which went on forever in the main foyer outside our room and would have been heard throughout the building.

It was just one night but everything was ok. Nice place and nice people!!

It was the first time at this bed & breakfast. It was ok but not excellent.

It was very difficult to find 'Lucca in Villa' from the map. Even Italians couldn't help us, then a kind man drove there and we followed him. That said, our stay was perfect. Just 10 minutes walk from the beautiful city of Lucca. Staff were very very friendly and breakfast was simple, but plentiful. (The room you eat breakfast in is a little small, [hence the score of 8/10] but you can eat outside at tables in the courtyard.) Free parking... free internet... hot showers... brilliant!! We'll be back.

The building itself is beautiful, with a sweet smelling garden surrounding it. Parking facilities are very good, and is only a short walk from the city walls. Breakfast excellent, and can be taken outside on the terrace.Would gladly recommend this place.
