The B&B Relais Il Castello is situated in the heart of the Tuscan medieval village of Nozzano Castello, near Lucca, very close to the fortress. The structure has been restored in full respect of its medieval origin. The B&B combines ancient charm with modern amenities. Guests have at their disposal a private parking, a little garden and a common living room.

The tax established by the City of Lucca will be in force from 01.04.2013 and imply for each night and for each person, a tax which amounts to 1 euro for expenses ranging from 1 to € 29.99, 1,50 euro for expenses from 30 to 69.99 euro, 2 euro for expenses from 70 to 99.99 €, 2.50 for expenses from 100 to 129.99 and € 3 for expenses above 130.00. Children under 14 years old do not pay.

We were very impressed with the renovations of this medieval building as its original features have been maintained wherever possible.It is advisable to have a GPS to be able to find the place and the hotel is on the main street, keep your eyes open for the house number(we went by twice!)There is an excellent restaurant very close by and more in the village a bit further on.Well placed to visit Lucca, scenery is great. The village is very peaceful.Continental breakfast.

This was a very nice and clean hotel. The owner was extremely friendly and obviously loves her work and is proud of her newly redone hotel. The price was very good, and the neighborhood quaint and quiet. There is parking across the street. There was no TV, hair dryer or soap in the room, but there is a TV in the reception area. Breakfast was provided in the morning. We enjoyed the towns that were close to this area. We would definitely stay there again.
