I had booked 3 nights with breakfast. Got a reduction in price as there was no single room with bath as I had booked for the first night. The room I had got for the first night was as tiny as shoebox, but it was ok. Yet staff was friendly and had a room ready the next day. Breakfast room was very small though(one had to queue) and breakfast variety rather poor and I preferred having breakfast somewhere else the following days. the location of the hotel though is great, as it is in walking distance of earls court tube station.

The hotel is near the underground and principal monument in London. The room was clean but very small. The breakfast was sufficient for us but I ìthink not vey much for young people.

The hotel is very nice. It is very near from the underground station and the street is calm and pretty. The rooms are a bit small, but very clean and enough for a holiday sightseeng. The breakfast provided is nice and plenty. I shall go back!

The room was very small. We can't open completely the luggage because there wasn't some space. There was a little sink in the room. There were WC and shower in separate room with a big step. There was 2% more if we will pay with credit card. When we leave the hotel we asked at the hotel a taxi for the victoria station (we have the air at 7 am from stanstead) and he called a private taxi very expensive. 17£ for 10 minutes of taxi. I think it was very expensive. The district was very very nice and quite. Lovely.

Room was comfortable but very small, however it was much more important having the bathroom ensuite. Breakfast hall was very small and not enough big for all the guests so you have to do queue and if you arrive later you find very few things to eat because croissants, breads and other stuff finish and often they do not have other to offer, this was not good.they should count the number of the guests and maybe provide for croissants and bread directely on the table for each guests so you are sure that everyone can taste something

- Family room very small and a bit noisy (close to the elevator). I believe all rooms are very small. - toilette small but clean - service adequate for a short stay (less than one week) - Good breackfast (considering the price) - Nice place very close to the Earls Court metro station (Piccadilly, District and Circle lines)and with a lot of restaurants and food shops. - Overall opinion is favourable with a good ratio quality/price.

Hotel very easy to find, very close to amenities such as tube station, post office, food shops, restaurants.Lift only goes to the 3rd floor, and I was given a room on the 4th floor. Not so easy to drag a large suitcase, big bag, and heavy back pack up(the night concierge did offer to help me carry things up).Room was very small, and being between 2 stairwells very noisy. Hotel was supposed to be non smoking, but several times I smelt and saw drifting cigarette smoke on a couple of the floors. The closest toilet to my room did not have a hand basin to wash your hands in.When I asked the day concierge for help, such as for changing some of my money for the internet or to quickly look in the phone book, he seemed unwilling to help. His tone was patronizing and seemed to only grudgingly offer help.

The hotel is nice and very clean! Breakfast is enough, But rooms are too small to stay there more than a couple af days. I suggest the single room N° 17 (it was mine) and avoid single room N°408 (my friend's room). It's 1 min from underground Earl's Court and around there are pubs, market, pharmacy ecc

The location of Lord Jim is great, just 5 min from Earl's court station! Very convenient to travel to other places in London. Eventhough the room is quite small but it's very clean also the toilet and bathroom outside the room. Perfect for short stay. It s worth the price.

Really small room, but very clean (especially the toilet). They gave us only one electronic key, although we were 3, and that's not such a comfort, as we couldn't leave the key at the reception. Quiet surrounding - you have the Tube just a step above.

Ideal accomodation if visting Earls Court and require only a modest affordable room. Would also suit a short city break. Our room was on the top floor and was surprisingly quiet. Not all rooms are ensuite so it is worth confirming this when you book. Breakfast was basic but you could eat as much as you wanted. Staff were very welcoming and the rooms were clean. Only a short distance from the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum too.

Quand je suis arrivé à l'hotel, le maitre d'hotel avait avait attribué nos chambres à d'autres clients! J'était tres enervé, surtout qu'on était 7. Le maitre d'hotel nous a donc proposé deux chambre triple et une chambre simple sans sanitaire, ni douche. A la place d'une triple et d'une familly (4). Apres negociation, il nous a fait une réduction de 25%.

The room was overbooked at first so we received room without tiolet, but they arranged a new room for next two days, which was very nice. The Hotel is decent and quite clean, breakfast is though not so good. Not many places to sit and eat breakfast. But being near Earls court is very practical and you can walk to Kensighton high street quite easily. I recomend as a cheap stay

If you like to be a victim of a fraud, stay in Lord Jim Hotel. The hotel is nothing you see on the pictures. The rooms are very small by the European standards. The hotel clerks can not get a concepts that you may need more then one pouch of so called shampoo a day. The bath towels are rationed to one a day, and you can use it any way you want. When we ask for extra towels, we been told that they will not have enough for all the quests!!! We traveled with twelve-year-old boy. It was his first time in London. He sad that he dose not want to go anymore. You have to stay and wait for other people to finish breakfast (O my God, you do not want to see the verity!) because they do not have enough tables in the basement (breakfast room). The room size is smaller than average waking closet, and we stay in the room for three people. We travel to Europe at least twice a year for the last eight years, been to London five times, and stayed in number of bad and good hotels. However, we had no idea that hotel management can be so cheap, and so indifferent to its guests. We made a reservation three month in advance, and what we got in this hotel is an nightmare.

Postivive : Lord Jim is indeed in a quite nice area in that sense that in isnt too loud. Its also very close to the Underground station. Negative : The rooms are very small, at least my single room had no bath or WC within the room (I had to go down two floors to find one) and the breakfast is not too bright.
