Very comfortable hotel. Location near Train station was wonderful. Local pubs were nice. Staff was very helpful to answer questions and help with reservations or any concerns. Would recommend to London visitors. Street lighting at night was great when walking home later in the evening.

The location of the hotel is ideal. The service is good and the rooms are quiet. I found it a little expensive for the price (we had a small room in the basement).

The pluses - it was easy to get to from Heathrow and less than 5 mins from the tube station. There were lots of pubs and services nearby that we took advantage of. The included breakfast was pretty good - lots of cereal, tinned fruit, yogurt, bread, buns and croissants, cheese, juice, tea and coffee. Didn't have the cooked breakfast for extra $. Most of the staff were friendly and accomodating; sometimes the fact that English is not their first language made it difficult, but they tried and we got what we needed. The minuses - I had some issues with the cleanliness but I am fussy. Overall it struck me as a "down at heel" kind of place, however, they really try their best and deserve acknowledgment for that. Not much room on one side of the bed which made it a bit difficult to navigate. Not sure if I would return to this property on our next trip to London.

This B&B is ok, but not spectacular by any means. The accommodations were adequate. The room was small and smelled a little moldy. The beds were absolutely atrocious. They were hard as a rock and looked like they had been purchased about 30 years ago. Very uncomfortable. The bathroom was very good, the shower was small, but nice. The breakfast left something to be desired - mostly cereal, with some somewhat stale bread available. The major plus to this B&B was its proximity to the tube station and restaurants close by as well. The tube station was a 5 minute walk from the B&B. Overall, it wasn't worth the amount of money spent to stay here.

Rooms are cozy but efficiently arranged, and tastefully decorated. Private bathroom with shower. Towels changed daily. Mattress not very comfortable and sags in the middle. Bed linens only changed once during our stay. Found broken glass on the bathroom floor but it was cleaned up after we alerted the front desk. Breakfast room light and airy and and there was yogurt, several cereals, fruit cocktail, juices, hot beverages, croissants, baguettes, toast, and milk. Very adequate and enjoyable. Full hot breakfast is available for a fee. Book early. Private and quiet. Enjoyed our stay. Front desk personnel very friendly and helpful. Elevator works, which is nice, as some places don't have a working one. Very convenient to pubs,take-out foods, small shops, buses and the underground . Safe and pleasant neighborhood. I recommend it.

This is pleasant, basic and practical. Excellent access to Earl's Court station with many places to eat nearby. We had a front garden view room which was quiet and generally peaceful, although the walls are thin! Would probably go back again for the convenience.

I had a very nice stay at Henley House. The single room was very small but ok for one night. My room was at fouth floor. Henley House has a lift which was great. English breakfast was good and on Sunday morning it was served from 8.30. The location of the Henley House was very good; easy access to the center and Hearthrow.

My sister and I spent 4 nights in London at Henley House. We took the underground from Heathrow and easily found the property. The neighborhood is great with lots of restaurants. Our room was spacious and comfortable, overlooking the street which could be noisy at night. The furnishings definitely need to be updated. Although most of the room was clean, it needed a good deep cleaning, moving furniture and cleaning into the corners. The breakfast room was cheery and breakfast good. It was nice to have hot water in the room for an early cup of coffee.

Henley House is one of the most charming small hotels in London. If one requires peace and quiet in central London with excellent public transport this is an ideal place. The efficient well educated man at reception was most helpful as were all of the staff. They respect one's privacy absolutely but if one requires anything they are absolutely attentive. I have stayed there a number of times in past years and feel completely safe and secure, rooms in winter are always well heated with controls and absolutely cosy. Only two minutes walk from Earls Court metro , with excellent dining and shopping in Earls Court Road. Their breakfast is adequate the dining room is very pleasant with numerous plants and flowers. My only problem is that it is not always possible to find a room vacant there when I need it as they have a discerning clientele. Itis my favourite in London.

Very practical location (literally one minute walk from Earl's Court Underground/Railway Station) and quite nice surroundings (public park in front of the hotel). The rooms are simple, nice and tidy, and reasonably quiet (you're boud to hear some noise if you're facing the road, but it's not a busy road). All in all, good value for money. I'll be certainly considering going back to Henley House in the future.

The location is very good for access to transport, shops and places to eat. Buffet breakfast varied and generous. Surprisingly quiet for an area so near the centre of London. We have recommended it to friends and will stay there again.

Very nice area to stay in, close to Underground. The hotel is nice and clean, and the staff competent. Tea/coffee available in the room, as well as safety deposit box a nice touch. I had some temporary problems with the shower, but it was due to roadworks in the street, not their fault. I recommend the hotel to others.

The Earls Court location is outstanding for access all over London. The rooms are really small -- mine was 6.5 feet square plus a 3 x 5 foot bathroom. Great hotel to crash in, but really just a step or two up from a hostel.

Despite using the elevater, we had to step up or down stairs with heavy laggages to our rooms. We wanted someone to carry them, but nobody was except a receptionist seemed busy to wait on other guests. And one room smelled a little.

By north American standards, where the hotel costs are 1/2 the cost of London prices, it's hard to make a comparison and keep it unbiased. Judging from the the other hotel prices in the area, Henley House was good value especially if you plan on spending most of your day time out and about and only need a place to lay your head. Also, I asked the kitchen staff if I could get eggs and sausage for breakfast and they said they don't do that. Perhaps, in hind sight, I should have English breakfast? I would like to suggest other bread options be available at breakfast i.e multigrain, whole wheat etc.

Very agreable area with a park just in front of the hotel. Close to the subway station and easy to find. Shops and restaurants nearby (although we did not test them). Personnel very friendly although not very knowledgeable (could not avise us about the Change of the Guard at Buckingham Palace). Not very good sound insulation, but the street is very quiet so it did not bother us (may be a problem for someone planning to sleep in late in the mornings) Breakfast without anything special but O.K. (extra price for English breakfast, as was specified in the reservation e-mail). The breakfast room (as shown in the pictures) is like a greenhouse : very nice. The price seemed a bit high at first but I guess this is the market price in London. It was worth it as we really felt at home.

We thought the staff was friendly and helpful and the room itself was very nice; in fact, larger than we expected albeit a typically small hotel room. Henley House is also extremely well situated in a lovely quiet neighborhood only two blocks from the underground that takes one to everything one would want to see in London. My only complaint was that there were really no ameneties at all in the bath, including soap! We were loaned an unbrella one day and our wake up call was right on time. Even the modest breakfast was quite nice. Well done Henley House!

The rating is depending on that we got the last room, which was the smallest and obviously poorest. Not much to do but to pay and keep smiling. Breakfast also nothing much to brag about.

This was our first visit to Henley House Hotel. It is very well situated close to public transport, shops and restaurants. Lovely green area (Park) in front of Hotel - but traffic noise at night can be disturbing. Very clean rooms. Good continental breakfast - toast, croissant, cereals, yoghurt, cheese.

Very close to the Earl's court tube in a safe clean area across from a park with fast food, Marks and Spencer, drug store, banks and a lovely pub between the hotel and the tube. The house is very clean, the staff is friendly and competant, especially the morning gals who do breakfast. The breakfast had cereal, oatmeals, hard rolls and cheese, toast, yogurt and you could get a full english for extra. It was enough for us. Our room was small but it was arranged in such a way there was storage space for our things. Bath was small, but adequate and had upgraded granite and fixtures. We were on the top floor but the lift was big enough for 2 and luggage. When we left, my husband forgot that his passport was in my luggage and we were flying out from different airports. The staff at the hotel were very helpful in getting me numbers and info so I could locate him and get it to him. They helped us avert a disaster! My only disappointment is that we could not get the wifi to work and the staff didn't know how to help. Apparently the US wifi and European are different.

My wife and I were in the UK to visit our daughter, who had won an award from her employer. We wanted to see some sights in London before traveling to Derby to see her, and stayed here. While the rooms were small by US standards, ovrall, the hotel was a good value for the price. There were some roaches however, and I doubt we would stay here again. The bed was not very comfortable, either.

Teeny tiny room: twin-bed width. Shower, no tub. Nice view to private Barkston Gardens. Block to Metro, shops, pubs. The week before I stayed in Paris. The room was the same price, much bigger, with fridge, water cooker, and modern bathroom. England should use the Euro.

Good position on a quiet road only a few hundred meters away from an important subway station. Besides this, we know that the London accomodations are out of the european continental standards if compared with the price. Very little bedroom and very very little bathroom. Narrow timetable for breakfast (from 7.30 to 9.00 AM). They do not accept the electronic credit cards. Anyway for London it's a fairly solution.
