exterior The reception area is located on the 1st floor of an elegant building built for its owner, the lawyer Luigi De Giorgi, to a plan that was approved in May 1879 and so is an example of typical Lecce architecture of the second half of the Eighteenth Century.

The building, which is just inside the old town, doesn't suffer from that closed-in feeling of narrow little streets that often surround and almost stifle many other beautiful aristocratic buildings in the centre; quite the contrary, it enjoys wide views, almost an independent structure jutting out into a single large square.

Looking out onto a stretch of the old city walls of Lecce, the palace is well-situated for many important places in the city: at easy-walking distance, there are the train station, the Office of the Chancellor of the University, the Provincial Museum, the Chamber of Commerce , the Cathedral Square and other places of artistic, cultural and economic interest.

Palazzo De Giorgi B&B offers guests not only enjoy a wide room for breakfast and leisure, four double rooms and one suite with separate entrance.
All the rooms of Palazzo De Giorgi B&B take their name from the restored decorative elements of the 6-meter vaulted ceilings or are inspired by the original painting.
Each has a double bed of the period, consisting of separable twin beds, with the option of adding a third bed, an en-suite bathroom with shower or hydro-massage shover.THE ROSES has a PRIVATE but EXTERNAL BATHROOM three metres far away with a hydro-massage shower. Each has heating, indipendent air conditioning in July and August, emergency lighting, anti-smoking device, LCD satellite TV, Wi-Fi connection, safe, writing-table and original hand-woven Afghan carpets.
Each room is bright with large windows that overlook Via Oronzo Quarta, facing a stretch of the Sixteenth-Century city walls and the splendid Seventeenth-Century Palace Tresca that has just been restored.
