Bed and Breakfast Nonna Jole - Lecce

Great location, in the very historical center of Lecce. Very nice staff and beautiful bedroom. Yet they should provide local italian food for breakfast (Lecce has amazing pastries) instead of serving poor ham and cheese toasts. We definately recommend the place.

Location is great, everything is great. The owner is really helpful and gives a lot of advice, even though he may seem a bit shy. We enjoyed our stay.

Our stay was very nice. The B&B is well located and the room was so pretty.

Nonna Jole is an excellently run, clean, quiet and friendly home right in the beautiful old town centre where the host has thought of all of the little practical touches that make for a relaxed stay. Our room (Campanile) was charming but with all modern comforts; a fridge stocked with water, a hairdryer, a safe, and its own prettily maintained private sun terrace. Upon meeting our very punctual and obliging host we were provided with an extremely useful parking pass for anywhere in the historic centre (it's less than a 10 minute walk from the train station for those not driving) and a set of vouchers for coffee and pastries at the nearby classy little Café Alvino on the main piazza which made our mornings hassle free. We would highly recommend Nonna Jole and would definitely stay there again on our much-talked-about return to this beautiful city.

Great B&B in the heart of Lecce old town. Room was very modern and clean. We stayed in the Campanile room at the top which has a lovely little terrace with sun loungers and table and chairs - highly recommend it. Owner doesn't speak much English but is helpful and asked a friend to come and help translate when we checked in. Best to pay via cash as the credit card machine is located abuot a 10 minute drive away!

The owner was very helpful and spent about an hour with us helping us find a place to park our car in the city center (not an easy task). You get exactly what is described on the site. A room and bathroom, well located in the city, but no "public spaces" per se. For breakfast you get a voucher to go to a swanky local cafe, right across from the Roman Forum in the town square. Ask for the top floor room, which seems to come with a terrace.

Excellent accomodation and very happy with the stay as we returned after spending a night there previously. The owner was extremely helpful with information of lecce and also picked us up from the train station although it is only a few minutes walk to the station so good location and an additional service not expected. He doesnt speak english though so have an italian with you!! Room was clean and tidy, bed comfortable, air con, fridge and traditional breakfast in a local cafe, which also allows you to see the main street and piazza of Lecce. Recommended for couples staying a few nights - not for families - not big enough!!
