Bed and Breakfast Azzurretta - Lecce

Great location in heart of Lecce Old Town. Rooms very large and clean, with good air con + fan (needed in summer as Lecce gets v hot). Not the most stylish option, but works well as a base for 1-2 nights.

Very friendly welcome. Person from the hotel came to help cary heavy luggages from car parking space(10-15mn walk). Very valuable information regarding tourist attractions and most interesting beaches. Despite of a restaurant downstairs, there was absolutely no noise at all int the room. Very strong sense of service. Easy to park thanks to hotel permit (even beyond time recommended by hotel manager there was always space in the streets allowed by the permit). Terrace is nice to have a drink/ snack.

In the historic heart of Lecce, set in a Palace full of charm, B&B Azzuretta is close to the main cultural places, gastronomical meeting points and also departure of train & bus lines. Respectful of environment, the rooms are well furnished, spacious and comfortable. A welcoming owner, dynamic, open to discussion: he likes to share all his good addresses and informations to bring you to appreciate your free time in Lecce and the neighbourhoods. You can appreciate the "solarium" where it's possible to have a relaxing time, freshness in the night(during summer), and aperitif (you have to book) to discover the specialities of the area. Just a recommandation when you come back at the night: be carefull not to bang your head in the little entrance door!

An excellent place for a long stay - more than two weeks. The roof terrace was indispensable for lunch and reading. Tulio (the owner) gave good information on busses and trains in the area. Very cheap transportation. And Tulio was very helpful trying to get hold of our two trunks that arrived 4 days late. San Tulio!

Very welcoming host The place is ideally placed and the terrasse brings a very charming note and really nice accomodation. Triple room is really spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and warmly recommed

Azzurretta is a nice and clean b&b with reasonable rates located right in the centro storico of Lecce. Note that breakfast is served at a bar on Piazza Sant'Oronzo (about 150m from the b&b), where you have a choice of one pastry and one type of coffee. It was absolutely adequate for us. The only problem we had was the lack of possibility to park inside the centro storico. However, Tullio (the very friendly owner) did his best to compensate us and make our stay comfortable. All in all, highly recommended.

We spent a short stay, but we were very happy. The ancient building is charming and the owner very kind and welcoming Lecce was a nice discovery!

Great place, great location, a plus is a 400-metre terrace open to guests with unobstructed view. The owner is extremely welcoming and helpful. There is no hair-dryer but I am confident he would have provided one if I had asked, considering how nice he is. There are two ramps of stairs to climb, which might be a problem to elderly guest. I am planning to go back with my family.

This is a very basic B&B in the heart of the city. Rooms are more functional than comfortable. Cleanliness of bathroom is so-so, furnitures are old but can be ok if you do not have big expectations. Terrace on the roof is fun. The biggest advantage for me was the free parking in the city center with a special permission. The owner is flexible and helpful. Don't forget to try the restaurants he recommends, all of them are great. The breakfast is in a bar close to the B&B with coupon but only a coffee and a croissant is included and you have to pay extra for everything else (capuccino, tea, etc).

When we arrived there was no-one there, but an hour later there was. The owner is really friendly and helpful. On top of the beautiful old building housing the B&B there is an exquisite roof terrace with views of the surroundings (old city of Lecce). Very worth visiting!

This was unlike anywhere I have stayed before because it was a self-contained flat - almost like having self-catering. I loved the freedom of this and it was great to buy local food for lunch and go up onto the roof terrace where I spent some happy afternoons in the sun! It is situated right in the heart of the old city of Lecce and everything you want to visit is near at hand. Bianco, the owner, is incredibly welcoming and helpful and gave me lots of information including recommendations for dinner - all the restaurants he told me about were excellent. It would have been nice to have a small fridge and a kettle (though the latter is not a problem for me as I always carry one) The shower is perhaps in need of some modernisation. Overall this was a great place to spend a holiday and I would definitely stay again.

This ism a really good B&B. People are young and dynamic, the building is very cool and the ambient is welcoming. I recommend it to anybody. The only thing is that even though I didn't check myself, I had the impression that there are also a few other cool places in Lecce. But for sure this is more than ok.
