The hotel was tucked into a quiet spot, away from the noise of the March breakers on Duval St., yet it was only minutes away from the action. The decor was fun and funky, and the property was well maintained and cozy. It's even better if you like cats, since they have a few resident cats on the property, although the cats don't get in the way. The owners provide Happy Hour cocktails nightly. Overall, a very relaxed and relaxing place. My only complaint is that the mattress on the bed was past it's prime and should probably be replaced.

Extremely nice little inn centrally located yet very quiet and calm. Very beautiful garden area with hot (whirl)-pool. Extremely nice and relaxed welcoming by Jorge with a direct invitation to the happy hour with free bar (which is every afternoon). Free parking was available as well (around 4-5 spaces altogether for 10 rooms). Very clean and well-decorated room ("Paris"). Overall the perfect stay for us. Only 2 things have to kept in mind: Room was relatively small, gets easily cramped if you travel with more than light luggage (2 trolleys in our case, more would be difficult to place open inside the room). Contact Jorge up-front if you have more or book the larger condo-style rooms in this case. There are many cats visiting the garden area. We like cats so it was fun for us. Reconsider if you do not or possibly have a cat allergy

This little B and B is a hidden gem right off of Duval Street. The staff was great, especially the property manager, George. He could not have been friendlier and more helpful. We have already told others about our experience and we hope to return someday.

At Andrews Inn & Garden Cottages all guest rooms are named after settings in Hemingway's books, have all private entrances and surround the shimmering pool and are beautifully appointed with white wicker furniture, tropical décor and a unique collection of artwork.All accommodations are recently renovated in typical Bahama-style, featuring vaulted ceilings, cable TV, individually controlled air-conditioning and heating, ceiling fan, refrigerator and private bath with tub/shower combo, beach chairs and towels, coolers and snorkel equipment (limited quantity) and either shared or private decks or porches.

By car From Florida City:Take US-1 South all the way to Key West (approx 125 miles/201.1 km). Upon arrival into Key West, continue south on US-1 bearing to your right (this is also Roosevelt Blvd). Approximately 3 miles/4.8 km US-1 will become Truman Avenue (you are entering the Historic District). 1 mile/1.6 km south on Truman Avenue you will come to the intersection of Duval Street, make a right on Duval. Half a block to your left you will see Whalton Lane, turn left and follow the Lane to the end.
