5oda Hotel - Istanbul

It's mostly about rooms and location - very large (only one room on each floor), very modern designer rooms located in the very heart of Istiklal Cad. So you have all the nice restaurants, bars and clubs around you, but the hotel itself is in the tiny passage from the main street - it's very central, but quite at night. Sennur, the host, was exceptionally hospitable, friendly and helpful. And we had a very good breakfast. Highly recommended!

We only stayed here one night but I wish that we had stayed longer. The location is perfect with easy walk to the tram and the most important places of the area. Everywhere you would want to go is within easy walking distance. The room was very big and comfortable. Breakfast was a good start for the new day. The staffs, from the opening moment are warm, welcoming and efficient. We thank to everyone in the hotel

Design hotel, more like living in an apartment with good taste and modern decoration. Located 50 mts. from Istiklal, a metro station and 100 mts to the Tünel. Very clean and spaciousness -not the bathrooms ,quite small bot clean and modern-.Incredible friendly and helpful staff, we arrive at 1 a.m. because lost the ferry from Bursa and they were expecting us with a smile; on our way out, another pleasant surprise: the transfer to the airport was complimentary. Delicious and full of choices breakfast served in your room!!! Totally recommendable.

The 5oda Hotel is a gem. Gulten and Sennu, the two sisters who own and operate it, are extremely hospitable and personable. They made us feel at home right away, and treated us as guests and friends. I warmly recommend this hotel.

This very small hotel (5 rooms) near the Tunnel square and Galata Tower is very nice and cozy. The rooms are quite big (I'd say 30sqm) and newly reformed and with a small kitchen. The couple who runs it a very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is plentiful and very good. The only minus is that it is located on a very narrow and steep street that taxi drivers have a hard time finding. While we were there the street was being worked on, so it might look better soon. Highly recommended!
