Susi's B&B - Interlaken

I would like to give 9 out 10 . This is the best accomdation as I ever statyed during my 10 days vacation. The only issue I would like to report here is they dont provide the breakfast even though they mention it as B&B.....

We stayed in Interlaken for 7 days, and Susi's was a great place to stay! Across the street from a school and a large soccer field, located in a quiet neighborhood. very nice Apt. very clean and charming.

We had an amazing stay at Susi's B & B. We arrived and had been upgraded to the Hotel which was awesome. Clean, and very comfortable room. Facilities were awesome... could wash our clothes which was the only place in Europe that we stayed that this could easily be done, iron, coffee and tea making facilities, warm clothes for going up the mountains. Perfect location... very close walk to everything. Great, helpful staff. Would definitely recommended!

LOVED loved loved Susi's B&B. Fritz at the front desk was incredibly helpful. He suggested we go hang gliding a day earlier than we were planning on it because the weather was perfect (he would know - he's definitely an outdoorsman). He also gave us other recommendations as to what to do during our stay. The location couldn't be more ideal - just a few blocks from the train station. We got a room with a kitchenette that was perfect because we cut back on our food bills by cooking in the kitchenette both nights. The attached hotel to the B&B has a rooftop deck free for hotel and B&B guests to use. The deck has a beautiful view of the Swiss Alps. It was also wonderfully quiet at night. I couldn't give more praise to this place. The only thing is that it was just slightly expensive. BUT, considering how expensive Switzerland is in the first place and ALSO that we cooked our food in the kitchenette and saved $$ that way, I think this place is just perfect. I would recommend it to anyone.

This hotel is only 5 - 7 minutes walk from Interlaken West station and is right behind Migros outside the West Station. However, the walking directions on the reservation are slightly mis-leading and we had to go around 3 blocks dragging 6 pieces of luggage with us. Breakfast is not included in this B&B and there are several restrictions on how to use apartments outlined in a 1 page document that greets you. Check out has to be done the night before departure, something I have not come across before though I have travelled quite a bit around the world. Owner was helpful, but not as much as quoted in earlier hotel reviews I had researched, even bordering on sarcastic at times. The only one thing I would recommend about this hotel is location, location, location.

This B&B was wonderfully charming. The owners were especially kind and helpful and the room was quite clean and neat. We wish we had been able to stay for more than one night. The breakfast was very good. The hotel/B&B was not more than ten minutes walk from the station and the directions from the travel site were quite clear. We would highly recommend this hotel to all our friends and family.

Nice place,standard rooms,price but do not expect too much. From/to the train station 10 /15 minutes by walk

One room vas very small. The breakfast was not as expected for a B&B. Noise from workers early in AM. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We especially want to thank the owner for suggesting the day trip which included; 1. bus to Niederhorn. 2. gondola to the top 3. hike 1/3 down 4. scooters 1/3 down 5. train to lake 6. boat cruise back home It was excellent! Thanks for making our only full day in Switzerland full of fun and adventure. We had planned the ice palace but visability was 0.

Although the staff were very friendly, the breakfast superb(!)and the location close to the station, we had a bad experience staying here... My first problem is that the photo on Venere.com is that of Hotel Lochtberg (spelling?) and not Suzi's B&B (which is located at the back in another building). Secondly the walls of this place is extremely thin and we had very loud neighbours which laughed untill 4 a.m. and they had a baby which cried right through the night. Although everything looked clean, I saw a cockroach running around in the bathroom. I will definately not stay here again, as a result of the thin walls ! We didn't get ANY sleep !

Quite a nice place, with friendly staff who make an effort to welcome you and assist. Susi's B&B is actually behind, and in association with the Hotel Lotschberg (which is the building shown in most photos). It is perhaps a seven minute walk from Interlaken West railway station, but quite a distance from the Interlaken Ost terminal, so you might want to consider catching a train there from Interlaken West, or getting a cab if you are aiming to catch a train up into the Jungfrau region (services for which begin at Interlaken Ost). It is about a 20-25 min walk to Interlaken Ost.

This hotel has a great location if you want peace and quiet and near tolocal shops. Perfect. However, when i read Bed and Breakfast, i expect a bed and a breakfast included. here you have to pay extra! not what I expected. Beds were too soft and old and smelly. Facilities need a facelift in the BnB rooms. They are old.

We chose this accommodation based on positive previous comments. The accommodation is basic and the entrance hall and stairways dull and less than inviting. The host was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast area was bright and colourful, but the buffet breakfast was limited in choice. We had one half used toilet roll in the bathroom which was of the cheapest quality. When it ran out we had to find another one. We stayed at a number of places on our european trip and this was the worst value for money.

Very close to Interlaken West station, great value for money. Hotel staff helpful to share information. It has a laundry room and internet access at minimal cost

All the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. Car Parking is limited to only 5 vehicles which could be a problem when the hotel is busy. The appartment has to be paid for in Cash. Cash points are fairly close by but no-one wants to carry large amounts of cash around

I really enjoyed staying at Susi's B and B, until we were accused for housing backpackers overnight, which never happened. I think our neighbors were housing them.

Employees very friendly and helpful. Beautiful surroundings!

We had a pleasant stay at Susi's Bed and Breakfast. The rooms were very clean. Our room had more than a couple of windows - making it very bright and airy. The location was great with respect to being very close to the train station and also to the grocery store Migros. The breakfast provided was great. The breakfast room was spacious and airy. Staff was very friendly. There was a laundry facility .. so that helped a lot. Although, the washer and dryer are rather old and could do with a replacement. Overall, this is a great place.

Good location close to town and supermarket. Helpful friendly staff. Would stay there again if we returned to Interlaken which is quite possible.
