exterior La Bastide des Anges, a country house located in Grasse, is a splendid house, dating back to 18th century, entirely renovated with taste and respecting the spirit of this old residence in Provence.

We offer to our guests all the year two independent suites (Jasmine and Lavender). Each suite (approx. 50m²) may host two to four people and features comfort and refined decoration.

The superb view offers a panoramic landscape of the hills of Grasse, to the bay of Cannes and on the Mediterranean Sea, while passing by the mountains of Esterel and the forests of Tanneron.

Rooms at Bastide des Anges

suite Suite "Jasmine":
You will be charmed by the decoration and the comfort of our suite: the large bedroom is furnished in Provence style and offers many possibilities of arrangement.

Two beds Swissflex* (80cmx190cm), with electric drives will get you greatest comfort and will allow you to choose your position on the bed.

The room is equipped with a television set with satellite channels (TPS and CanalSat, about 20 in English), Radio/CD/DVD player. A Wi-Fi Internet connection is also at your disposal.

The lounge, in refreshing green colours, is composed of a bed-settee (two people), and comes equipped with a refrigerator (with some soft drinks) and a kettle to prepare a drink (tea, coffee or herb tea).

The bathroom, in gold yellow and azure-blue, comprises two basins with a large mirror, a bath-tub and a shower. The toilets are separate.

Suite "Lavender":
The “Lavender” suite is located on the second floor of our Bastide.
The bedroom, in lavender colour and nicely decorated, has a big and comfortable bed for two persons. The room has a panoramic view onto the garden, the country of Grasse to the Mediterranean Sea. The spacious lounge with salmon coloured walls put you into the Provence atmosphere. Furnished with a large bed-settee for two persons it offers a cosy place for rest. There is a fridge with a plate of fruits and pastries and some non-alcoholic drinks, and also a kettle to prepare coffee or tea.

Both suites:
All the windows are equipped with mosquito nets and shutters.
There is no kitchen available.
Of course all the household linen is provided. Bathroom linen change, as well as cleaning service are provided every day.

For the respect of each and every one, the entire house is "non-smoking".

Breakfast at La Bastide des Anges

Our tasty and rich breakfast buffet is composed of bread from Provence, butter, jams, and seasonal fruit, fruit juice, cheeses, cold cuts, honeys and other delicacies. The breakfast is served between 8 a.m. and 10.30 a.m.

Breakfast is served on the southwards large terrace, partially shaded, offering a very beautiful view to the sea, or in our spacious dining room, with warm decoration in red and gold colours.

How to reach B&B La Bastide des Anges

By car
If you arrive via the highway A8 to Cannes you shall leave the highway at exit n° 42 (Cannes – Grasse).

At the round-about take the fourth exit (N85 direction Grasse) and follow the road (for about 7 km) up to Grasse Centre (do not leave at “Grasse Sud”).
You shall arrive at a round-about with an alembic on it. By the way, you may see a panel on the round-about with the name “L’alambique”, all roundabouts in our regions have names, which I shall use further in that road description. At this round-about take the second exit direction “Grasse Centr". At the next round-about, called “Les Quatre Chemin”, take the fifth exit, direction “Grasse-Centre". At the next round-about called by its very short name “18ème et 23ème Bataillon des chasseurs alpins” take the first exit “Magagnosc”. At the following round-about “Le Sud” take the second exit. Same at the next round-about named “St. Marthe” take the second exit. Now follow that road for about 2,5 km (you shall pass over a bridge and pass by a panel “Grasse”). After 2,5 km you should meet a town panel marked “Grasse – Magagnosc”. Here, on your left side (just before a bus stop cabin), you turn into the small road named "Chemin du Camp de la Besse". You shall climb about 200m then you shall see a black painted enclose on which is an indicating panel “La Bastide des Anges”. Turn left and continue for about 20 meters. Here on you right, the black iron door, is the garage for your car. At this point please call us and we shall come down to welcome you.
