Actually I was transferred from Amber Bay to Amber Hill wich seems to be an establishment under the same management. This B&B is located about 1 km from the Salthill bay. It is easyly accessible from the main road. Service is good, what they advertise they provide. The B&B also provides free parking for car. Breakfast is Irish breakfast in ample quantities. Staff is friendly and hepfull in giving advice and solving of problems.

This Bed & Breakfast was a lot more business like so one does not get the quaint experience at other B&B's. With that said, the quality and price of the facility were quite excellent and I highly recommend Amber Bay.

By car
From Cork, Limerick or Shannon: follow the N18 to Galway. On approaching Galway, take the 2nd exit from the Oranbeg Roundabout in the direction of Galway. At the Carrowmoneash Roundabout, take the 2nd exit in the direction of Galway. At the Martin Roundabout, take the 2nd exit in the direction of Galway City West. At the Lynch Roundabout, take the 2nd exit in the direction of N59 Clifden. At the Morris Roundabout, take the 2nd exit in the direction of the N59 Clifden. At the Font Roundabout, take the 2nd exit in the direction of N59 Clifden. At the Kirwin Roundabout, take the 2nd exit in the direction of the city centre. At the Bodkin Roundabout take the 4th exit in the direction of the N59 Clifden. At the Browne Roundabout, take the 3rd exit in the direction of Salthill. At the Deane Roundabout, take the 2nd exit in the direction of Salthill. At the traffic lights, go straight ahead until you reach the sea. At the Sea Road Roundabout, take the 2nd exit in the direction Spiddal. Keep driving on this road and you will see an EMO Petrol Station and a STATOIL Petrol Station on your right-hand side. Keep driving and the bed and breakfast is on the right-hand side.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. You may cancel your reservation without penalty up until 1 day before your arrival date, by accessing the Your Reservations page. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE".
