The accommodation is in a very good location considering the price. I would suggest to paint again the bathroom and it will give a great aspect to the whole room.

We stayed in the fire room. They make you fully aware that in that room the bathroom is old-school european shower and toilet all in one small space, so that was not a suprise, but I would pay the extra to have a real bathroom. Other downside is that wi-fi does not work in that room, so you have to go upstairs. Other than that the breakfasts were great and a very central location for seeing florence.

The location was excellent. This motel was a private owned; therefore, there was no staff around 24/7. It was on the second floor (third floor in US term) with non-working elevator. At one point, we were the only people staying at the motel, so we felt bad waking up late and making the cook wait for us to make us breakfast. Breakfast was prepared in the main lobby/livingroom area with no AC. It was extremely hot and we were sweating while eating breakfast. People looking for very home style, cozy stay would love this place. For those that are looking for hotel style should stay away from this place. Overall, it was nice but it wasn't as nice as my friend made it out to be. Also the owner, Maria's english wasn't so good, at times we couldn't communicate.

This is simply a "top draw" establishment - the locality is superb as are the facilities and Maria and Susan so friendly and helpful Why do people waste their money booking into five star hotels when accomodation like this is available - I guess its to satisfy their egos My wife and I wish them all the very best

I can only recommend this accomodation. Top quality rooms and facilities (we booked the earth room). Very good breakfast and very friendly service. Nice breakfast room. Excellent location, you can do any sightseeing by foot!! Garage nearby, if needed. We had a very pleasant stay.

Room Details
The B&B offers 4 double rooms(Water, Air, Heart, and Fire room), featuring ensuite bathroom with hairdryer and shower.All rooms are furthermore equipped with individually controlled air conditioning/heating, TV, mini bar, free WiFi and safe.
The Air room is the bigger one while the Fire room is very different from the others, it has a simple ethnic decor and is furnished with a beautiful Indonesian bed. The room has a separate street access with stone steps, and it is isolated from the rest of the structure thereby giving it a lovely silence and seclusion. From the room, we enter into a nice small drawing room that connects the bedroom and a small bathroom (whit shower but without shower tray) which is perfumed with "fire" essence.

By carThe hotel is easily reachable from the highway A1. Exit at Firenze Certosa and follow the indications to centro until Porta Romana, from there take Via Romana, via Maggio, via Tornabuoni until Via Rondinelli.

The Florence railway station Santa Maria Novella is about 800 meters from the hotel, about 3 minutes by walk.
By airplane
The Florence airport is about 7 km from the hotel and is connected to the Santa Maria Novella railway station by a bus leaving every 30 minutes or directly here by taxi with about € 20,00.
