Riccardo was a excellent in welcoming us. We were lost and when we called him he came to pick us up. Room was very spacious and clean. Bathroom was the best in Italy we had. mosquitos were the problem but it was all over in florence. Breakfast can see some improvement if we visit florence again We would only stay in La Luna GH. Riccardo was the best host very well information about sightseeing in 1 day.

Riccardo is wonderful!!! If you want to experience Florence as never before stay here ! My children loved La Luna but most of all loved Riccardo. He booked our museum tickets; restaurant reservations; directed us to the BEST gelateria's in Florence and gave us valuable interesting facts. La Luna is an easy walk to the most beautiful parts of Florence. We traveled for 2 weeks in Italy, Austria and Germany and our favorite place was to stay was La Luna. My children are 14 and 9. Wonderful.

We highly recommend the wonderful charming La Luna Guesthouse! Ricardo (owner) was very welcoming! He is extremely knowledgeable and helpful about the area! He helped us book a tour and use his computer. The location is within a 10 min. walk from the train station and in walking distance to most everything! The room & bathroom were very clean and a great size (think European terms not in the US). The breakfast had plenty to choose from and again think a typical Italian continental breakfast not one you might find in the US or somewhere else. We will definitely stay there again! Great value for the money!!

The Bed and Breakfast La Luna was an amazing retreat in Florence. Ricardo was an outstanding host, assuring us right off the bat that "there are really not dangerous areas in Florence!" His map and restaurant/route recommendations were absolutely indispensable for us. We stuck to his suggested plans and felt that it allowed us to fully experience all that Florence has to offer in the short time that we had there. I can't say enough good things about the place. The bedroom with the Fresco "Il Medaglione" was beautiful, had a very useful private balcony and a huge, comfortable bed. Both the room and the bathroom had a very luxurious feel about them - the marble floors or the vintage mirror in bathroom - we felt like we were in a castle. We could hear no noise from the street and slept like babies. Moreover, this is a perfect place to stay while visiting Florence....not only a place to sleep but surely a place to get familiar with the city, meet interesting people and make friends. The atmosphere is very relax and this is what we most enjoyed.

We had a three day stay in Florence. The room was spacious and with a lovely en suite.Ricardo was a fantastic host who schooled us on Florence when we arrived, so we knew exactly where we needed to go.All the main attractions in Florence are within walking distance of this B&B. My only criticism would be the lack of a small kettle in the room for late night coffee or tea.

The B&B is about 5 minutes walk from the central train station and within 15 minutes walk of the historic heart of Florence. The B&B is located on a busy street of Florence. Our room faced the main street and heard traffic until late into the night. We had to keep the windows closed to cut the noise, which was not a hassle since the room had A/C. We rented a quad room (we had our two teenage boys with us). The room was actually a very big bedroom with a double bed that two single beds were added too. It was a bit crowded but we only used it to sleep. The bathroom was not adjacent to the room; it was a few meters from our room down the main corridor. It was newly renovated and had a shower etc. As for the owner/host, Riccardo, he is a very helpful person that caters to his clients. When we arrived, he sat down with us with a map and pointed out some interesting sites that we may have not gone to visit. He pointed out some restaurants and services, such as laundry, that are close by. Riccardo made sure that breakfast was ready for us. He made us coffee, had yogourt and "dolce". The only negative point is that the elvator in the building does not stop on the 1st floor where the B&B is located. We had to haul our luggage up the stairs but Riccardo was very helpful. Overall, I recommend B&B La Luna Guesthouse.

The guesthouse was very beautiful and was a nice stay. The location was not ideal for Florence but is great if you don't mind a 15 minute walk. The best part about the guesthouse is the owner. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. Within minutes of arriving we told him how much time we had and he pulled out a map and marked down all of the things we should do and how long each of them would take. In the end our time line matched his pretty much exactly. If you don't know Florence well and would like help planning your trip I would definitely suggest this place.

Riccardo was fantastic, very friendly and helpful with sightseeing and shopping tips. We stayed in the quad room and the fresco on the ceiling was beautiful, but there is a reason that it's the only picture of the quad room. The room had a king size bed, two camp beds, a small desk and just barely enough room to walk between them. It did have a private bathroom, but it was down the hall which was a little inconvenient. The room and bathroom were very clean, but were not cleaned daily. Breakfast was prepackaged croissants and prepackaged toast. We were able to walk to town, but it was a long walk back in the evening when we were tired. Overall it was a good place for a reasonable price.

This B&B is a great value for money. We just paid 49euro for a last minute deal. We stayed in a very spacious bedroom that had a stunning fresco on the ceiling and other interesting decorations on the walls. The property is very clean and we were amazed by the stylish bathroom that are really unusual for such a property. We also enjoy breakfast that has almost everything you wish for but ham. The guy there helped us out in finding and showing us on a map all monuments and landmarks to visit in just a day,He has really good knowledge about the city inside-out + speak very good in English. We loved Boboli gardens so much......you must see them!!! We also recommend this b&b because it is very near the city centre and it will only take you few minutes to walk there. Ask the owner to tell you the best restaurant to eat. Can't wait to go back!!! Shannon Taylor

We love La Luna Guesthouse. Owner is very nice and handsome, he sent us many photos of the city as he knew that we didn't have enough time to walk around the whole city. We had a delicious dinner and got discount by using La Luna Guesthouse's recommend in a pretty restaurant Ross. Although we spent very short time on Florence, we felt that it is a very beautiful and clean city.

We really appreciate Riccardo the person hosting us, always smiling and ready to help. La Luna is walking distance from down town, then we were with an old person and used the bus 17 bringing us in 10 minutes to the Dome for a very reasonable price.

A favourable location just outside the historical city centre - within 10 min. walk along the Arno river. Also very close to the Santa Maria Novella train station. Room and facilities were clean, refurbished, in a modern look though a bit colder (paved floor with no carpet). The owner was helpful and relaxed. A reasonable place to stay either as a single or in a couple.

La Luna has amazing bedrooms, the one was given us was spacious, comfortable and very romantic. Great decorations and paintings are a plus and we also liked the bathrooms too, brand new and stylish. Breakfast was good too despite we expected sausages and beans but it is not part of Italian continental breakfast served at la Luna. Very near the city centre and all main attractions. Owner explained us everything about the city on a map and it was good that he speaks good English. We had a very pleasant stay.

I stayed at La Luna just for one night but it has been feeling great. I just wished that on this occasion my fiance would have been here with me has the room I was in is really so romantic and cosy....it is perfect for romantic week-end and vacations of all kind. The bathroom is cool and look just stylish and modern like a very good 4 star hotel. The area around is full of interesting restaurants and bar with live music,I was lucky I was told a good one by the owner just close by. You are literally less then 10 minutes walk from the Ponte Vecchio and the very city centre while the station is at the most 5 minutes walk.-no need of transportation too. Most of all I was impressed by the last minute price and sincerely I cannot complain at all. I suggest this B&B to anyone and surely I will return with my fiance!!!!

We had two stays at La Luna, both met our needs well. Host met us at airport (for a fee) which was greatly appreciated after transAtlantic flight, stored luggage while we went to Venice, and assisted our departure to Canada. Room decorations, including ceiling frescos, show host's interest in providing attractive surroundings appropriate to Florence. En-suite bath was appreciated. Breakfast room could be improved but was satisfactory. Location, as advertised, is within easy walking distance of major attractions including SMN Station. Host made internet and Skype freely available and provided helpful guidance for touring, and was responsive to other requests.

La Luna is a treat - a guesthouse with wonderful character combining nodern furnishings with Florentian frescoes. Location is god - just 10 minutes walk to the Ponte Vecchio. The host, Riccardo, is a star - effortlessly charming and friendly and couldn't do more to help with directions and recommendations. Riccardo, thank you, you made our stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Luna Guesthouse. The host, Riccardo, was very helpful in informing us of transportation and ways to get everywhere for our sightseeing. This was our first trip to Florence and we enjoyed it very much, mainly because of the nice accommodations and our host.
