Duomo View B&B - Florence

I loved this little B&B right in the heart of the bustling Florentine center. The Duomo filled the view from our window and we could walk right into the baptistry from the front door or turn next door to a caffe or a number of restaurants and shops nearby. The host is very welcoming with recommendations and suggestions and it is small suite, but everything you need is available. A common area with fridge, seating and travel information; slippers, towels, and toiletries to use in the shared bathroom, which was no problem traffic-wise; and a fabulous included breakfast with more than we could eat at a time of our choosing. I expected it to be noisy facing the street, but it was actually not too bad, as Florence is always quiet at night and I enjoy the sound of the tower bells.

Really enjoyed the stay, just the bells every morning!!!

We arrived very early, about 6 A.M. and the owner (Filippo) was very kind to meet us and gave a room to us immediately. The hotel has the best possible location in Florence ovewlooking Duomo! Myself and my sister with whom I travelled are very happy with the hotel! Thank you.

This hotel was a last minute choice because a previous reservation had lost avaiability. The owners of this charming B&B do their very best to run a clean and welcoming place to stay. They offer maps and ideas on where to go and what to see freely. They are bilingual (Italian, English) which was helpful since my Italian is not perfect. The rooms were spacious, very comfortable, include a bountiful breakfast to your room. Looking out the window of our room was an amazing view of the Baptistry and the front of the Duomo. I would stay here again, definitely.
