Bed and Breakfast SweetFlorence - Florence

The couple (Ramona and Mirco) who run the place were very helpful and kind. I had 2 nights there and 1 more night 1 week later. The room during my first stay (facing to the street) was pretty noisy (origin of noises unknown) of motor-like noises (probably from the street, but I dould not tell) as well as heavy noises of running water, which woke me up several times over night. However, the same room was less noisy on the second night. The room of my second stay faced inward (i.e., not facing to the street) and was much quieter than the previous room. The sink in the common bathroom of my first stay was too large, intruding into the toillet area, and lacked space efficiency. The common bathroom of my second stay was much better. Either bathroom lacked a table to place clothes/towels (although found some wall hooks, but were not very useful) while taking a shower, and was a little inconvenient. It would have been better if each room was equipped with a box of Kleenex (but the lack of Kleenex was observed in all accomodations in Italy where I stayed; so this is not a problem specific to SweetFlorence). Had a pretty bad mosquito bite overnight during my first stay, although the attached mosquito repellent was switched on overnight. It would have been a little nicer to have at least fresh bread (e.g., fresh croissant), rather than pre-packed ones, for breakfast.

I appear here as i am Rumeno but i'm not, maybe because the source of the booking . Even we live in Roma, we never visited Firenze before, a very nice experience and staying, probably the most beautiful Duomo from Europe. The B&B is perfect, more modern and comfortable than was expected. Don't have too many to say, spent inside just one night. The DVD was very useful.

Our staying in Firenze was adorable even so short and after walking on foot so much, the only comfort was our coming back to our very spacious, very modernly decorated room with such a wonderful queen size bed. The owners welcomes us with the second day breakfast on the table and after airports, buses and taxi we took, it was well seen by us. A good pizzeria just around the corner with a very fast serving, anyway there are so many places to eat. Ah, an important detail for us was the presence of the shutters, window blinds that could allow us to sleep in the total darkness, important for those who have light issues during the sleep. We already talked for coming back here in one month, Firenze requires more than 2 days for being visited...

It was our first time in Florence and we only chanced upon the hotel after endlessly searching for a decent place to stay on our first night in the city. The hotel staff are helpful and showed us the way around Florence. Public transportation is accessible as the bus stop is a mere five minutes walk from the property. The uber-modern room is spacious with a comfortable Queen-sized bed and a 3-seated sofa. A nice touch, indeed! Breakfast is readily accessible in the room. The only setback is that we had to check out early the next day. Unsuitable for family with children and trolley bags as there is no lifts available.

It's a really great place for stay. Although it's a bit far from CBD, but there is a great pizzeria near by this B&B. Also there is a quiet area, so we are very satisfied at this B&B, we made a great memory of Firenze.

Big, confortable and clean rooms. The staff is friendly and they were kind of waiting for us (we arrived later than we had told them). Good price - quality relationship. They offer coffee and snacks for breakfast ! The only negative points: the bathroom to share (however it is specified in the website) and it's a bit far from the center (20 - 25 minutes walking)

We stayed 5 days in Firenze and “Leonardo” room was assigned to us. It would be enough saying that I would like not only to stay there again, but to have it as my own private room! : ) New furniture, much more beautiful than in pictures, spacious, clean, the bed is luxurious and very comfortable. I don’t know about other hotels, but about this one never “fear” about shared bathrooms concept, it was always clean. Internet is free and it is working perfect. The owners are extremely nice and they offered us the map of the town, visit cards and other indications, also about where to eat, in the same building is Pizzeria San Jacopino with the best Calzone that I ever ate for only 6 euro! Definitely a very nice stay in an amazing town, real sweet hotel with a tasty Italian breakfast : )

The breakfast it is not so good. but all the other things are ok.

Our room was spacious, clean and fairly well equipped, it had a telly, DVD player, Wi-Fi and a kettle but it really needed a small fridge and it didn’t have one. The bathrooms are shared and that wasn’t really a problem as there are 2 for 5 or 6 rooms, they were also clean. The B&B is some 20 / 25 min walk from the historic centre so you have to be reasonably fit as there is a fair amount of walking to be done once you get there; it is a block away from a main road so we could hear the traffic but it wasn’t loud enough to trouble us. My main complaint about it is that it is described as a B&B but the second “B” is almost nonexistent, I wasn’t expecting a lavish banquet for breakfast but what was on offer was tea or coffee facilities in the room with two dry cakes. If you stay at the Sweet Florence try the restaurant just around the corner I think it’s called San Jacopino, very good food very reasonably priced, much better than the flash and expensive ones in the touristic areas.

This is a very nice B&B. It's a suite with about 5 rooms and 2 toilets. We booked 2 of them. The bed is very comfortable to get all the tireness of the trip and it's very quite also, the shower is clean. The host prepared some simple foods and drinks as breakfast. What we get is worth what we paid for.

The rooms were very clean and spacious. The bathroom especially was very neat. The couple is very nice and friendly. There is a fantastic pizza place within walking distance from the hotel called San Jacopino and their pizza is delicious!

Very nice service, very nice staff, would be glad to return here!
