Bed and Breakfast Rovezzano - Florence

Bed & Breakfast Rovezzano is better than in photos. We stayed 3 days in Florence. Center of Florence is aprx. 40 min - 1 hour by foot.

Very nice old house, kitchen and terrace. The swimming pool is not located in front of the hotel but somewhere within the park. Bus service stops early so you must have a car to go to Firenze. Dogs patrolling in vicinity. Only Italian speaking.

Nice place to stay. Can reach the downtown by bus.

C'était très pratique d'être juste à côté de Florence et avoir la possibilité de parking gratuit dans l'établissement. Par contre on avait demandé la chambre double et on a eu deux lits séparés :( ensuite la propriétaite ne parlait que l'italien, donc c'était très difficile de se comprendre. Le petit déjeuner a été correct. Cela reste quand même un établissement d'un bon rapport qualité/prix vu son emplacement...

Sehr stilvolles Ambiente in einem wunderschönem Park sehr zu empfehlen!!!! Wegbeschreibung der Hausherrin war perfekt, nur die auf der Web-Seite ist nicht gut. Die Hausnummer müßte besser Via Aretina 417/507 heißen, da das Eingangstor die Nr. 417 hat.

Wij hebben een prima verblijf gehad op Rovezzano. Service en communicatie verliep wat moeizaam, waarschijnlijk omdat de eigenaresse zelf niet aanwezig was. Kamers zijn prima en netjes, ontbijt zou iets beter kunnen. Algemene indruk: goed JW & Mary, Nederland

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Questo B&B è molto caldo ed accogliente, immerso in un parco, poco fuori Firenze, che però è facilmente raggiungibile con l'autobus. Noi ve lo consigliamo vivamente!

Siamo stati molto contenti durante nostro soggiorno. la casa è bellissima e anche le camere sono belle. mi a piaciuto molto il parco davanti la casa.

I did not like being so far away from the centre. Using buses was not so convenient. Overall we were very pleased with the property and the service provided. Would recommend this to anyone who does not mind adventuring in a country that you know little of it's language.

Superbe chambre dans superbe maison avec immense jardin. Petit déjeuner excellent. C'était vraiment bien !!!!

This place will make you feel at home. It was the best "hotel" experience I had during my month and a half of traveling. I´d recomend it to anybody. Excellent and beautiful place and people.

We had a lovely time at Rovezzano and to our surprise the owners had two nice dogs that played with ours in the spacious grounds area. My only critic is that the other guests should not be allowed to use the bathroom that is alloted for the use of the two rooms that share it. The rooms are advertised as being the only ones sharing the joint bath. We were in one of these rooms and disliked the fact that the guests who had their own bathrooms in their rooms felt it was fine to use our shared bath when theirs was occupied by their spouse or child. I am sure they would not have liked us to help ourselves to their bathrooms when we felt the need. But I am not sure the owners knew of these events. Other than that it was wonderful stay and we would return but only in one of the rooms with private bath.

The property was lovely. As was the room It is a little further from the bus than expected, but only about 1/2 mile. We were generally quite pleased with the property. The only downside was the person working at he property did not provide much information. The bus didn't run at all one day after noon (Easter) and the employee at the hotel did not let us know that, so we were stranded there without food. We walked 3 miles into town before we finally found something open.

The accomodation exceeded expectation - this really is a lovely place. I would mention that it is about a 20-30 minute bus ride from the centre of Florence however. We were fine with this - spending the day in Florence and dining at David 2, about a 5 minute stumble from the B&B - very welcoming and a great menu there. I would thoroughly recommend this for anyone wanting a bit of peace and relaxation.

Nice and Comfortable. Big and well facilitated rooms. far from central Firenze, but easy transportation. Close and easy access to main highways and routs from and into Fireze.

Everything was just beautiful, but a breakfast. Breakfast at Rovezzano was, being honest, poorest in my experience. Coffee was instant, there were crackers, manufactured croissants and one or two (if you are lucky ) kinds of cereal.
