Not so close from historic sites (25-30 minutes walk). You will end-up taking a taxi 10 euro. No one at the front desk so you get your own keys for the building (the place is like a big apartment with 3-4 big rooms)-This is not really a hotel. Breakfast is a joke (coffee pot and a cookie in your room) and for sure you don't feel welcome at this place. But I paid 80 euro per night and I guess you get what you pay for, isn't?

Breakfast overall in Italy was a disappointment except at Capri Inn. THEY had a very nice buffet worth mentioning here because it's what we were expecting in Italy and did NOT get in 8 out of 9 nights at B&B's in Italy. Dinner at the Michelangelo's Cafe was very good our last night in Florence. We visited our daughter who is studying in Florence.

The place is in the close poximity to the historical area about15 minute. Coming by car is very pricy since they do not inform about price. It coast$21.00 lucky if they have a place.Very difficult to park car to unload luggage. Very poor directions if driving car. The breakfast is a"jock".In the room 2crossanta.2slices of toast,2kids packages of juice. No jellos or butter. Paying for BREAKFAST is not worthed.

We were very satisfied with the room. It was clean and spacious, only a few minutes to reach the station, bars and a good restaurant. We had a little problem with the elevator, which could be heard during the night. Still we can recommend the hotel!

This b&b located on the top floor of the 6-story building. Every room has a terrace. Rooms are spacious; furniture is quite antique; nice modern bathroom with shower. The owner is very nice and helpful. Rooms #3 and 4 face a rather busy street, very noisy, ask for a room that faces courtyard (you'll have a better view, too). Breakfast is packaged, but you have it in you room; electric kettle is provided. Parking is extra (18 euros), but located downstairs in the same building. It takes about 15 minutes to reach the edge of the historic center of the city, even if you walk rather briskly. Overall, good value for the price.

The room was excellent, but the bathroom was a bit strange (the shower had no door, so the bathroom was constantly wet). The sound and light insulation in the room were amazing, it was like sleeping in heaven. Someone informed me by e-mail that there was parking next door and gave me the price. When I had to pay the parking, it was actually double, so I felt a little deceived.
