Excellent hosts, very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Spacious clean rooms with a lovely breakfast in the mornings. About 20 minutes walk to the sites which is fine and better to be away from the crowds. Can hear traffic noise from the rooms but think that is the same all over Florence.

Bette was awesome! She provided us with information on the FREE EVENING at The Uffizi Gallery. She also gave us tips on which buses to take to get to specific historic areas and sites. When we got back to the Residenza she brought cappucino to our room, free of charge. The breakfast was really good!The quad room "The library" was beutiful. The ceilings were 20+ feet in height and there was a beautiful built-in wooden bookcase that covered an entire wall. The room was very large, the largest room we stayed in on our vacation. There was plenty of hot water and the hotel was immaculately clean. My teenage boys really enjoyed learning more about Florence from Bette. If you want to come and go without conversation that is fine. If you want to initiate a conversation and gain some knowledge, that is also fine. I would highly recommend Residenza Bette to everyone. I look forward to returning to Residenza Bette.

It was a brilliant stay!Betta has been very enthusiastic and helpful. it's just a bit of walk to the centre of city and there is a bus stop right at the front door of this residence.

Very nice place, with large and clean rooms. Fairly near to the city center. Mrs. Betta is very kind in giving advises and solving problems. P.S. while in Florence you have absolutely to eat a sandwich with "Lampredotto"; strong but very enjoiable flavour. The best place to eat it is the small shop close to Dante's house and Dante's church.

Really nice accomodation not far from station (15 minutes walk) and near the center. Staff is friendly and very helpful.

Thank you Betta for a wonderful stay! You won't find a nicer and more helpful host. We had a beautiful and spacious room at a great value. A little bit far from the main sites but still walking distance. Great place to stay in Florence!

Extremly warm welcome with an espresso doppio. The owner Elisabetta and Adrianna were very helpful with giving hints for sightseeing on foot or car rentals. At Betta's Residenza you meet people from different countries. The B&B is not far from the station and the main attractions in Florence. We really appreciated this B&B. Our family felt at home in this place.

We - the group of 4 friends - stayed at Residenza Betta in late september 2010. This hotel is very good for it's price. The owner, Betta, was very welcoming and friendly(sometimes a little too friendly ;-)) and helpful. The location is very convenient, 10 minutes walk from the historical center of the city. Our room was clean and big enough for 4 people, the bathroom was the best we got during our vacation.

We were very pleased with the whole experience. The staff was very approachable ,very friendly and very efficient.Breakfasts were yummy and Betta( the boss) even allowed us the use of the internet for free. In short ,for the price, no downside to this Town House.

Florence was our last stop on a 10 day holiday in Italy and Residenza Betta was the best place we stayed on our trip! The room was clean, spacious, modern (terrific plumbing, hot water and charming balcony), comfortable, and great location (15 minute walk from SMN train and walkable to all of the top Florence attractions). Our host and owner, Elisabetta was really what made our stay most enjoyable. She was very friendly (terrific English), knowledgeable, helpful and most of all she loves what she does and it shows in every little detail of Residenza Betta and how she treats her guests. A great value for your Euro and I would recommend highly and stay again!

Huge room, friendly owners, simple breakfast included, free fast wifi. about 15mins walking from the churches/museums

The welcome was warm and friendly, and the facilities were up-to-date. Except for morning traffic, the presmises were quiet and peaceful. I would gladly stay here again!

We were 2 adults and 2 teenagers traveling in Italy (Venezia, Florence, Rome, Pompei, Padua, Parma)for 2 weeks. This was the best hotel room we got in terms of quality (including location) vs. price. Elisabetta (from where the Betta comes from) is an incredible hostess. Walking distance to everything.

Owner/manager was very welcoming, helpful and prefessional. The rooms are sparkling clean and very good quality. We got lots of good advice and free Wifi. The only problem we had was with our first room (a very spacious triple) which was facing the street and quite noisy at the night. Upon our request we were moved to a smaller room on the other side which was quieter. There is no A/C, and this might be a problem in the summer, although we wouldn't need it during our visit.
