In Piazza della Signoria - Residenza d'Epoca - Florence

The location is unbelievably... we could see the statue of Zeus on the Piazza del Signoria from our room. Extremely good staff, a family run B and B. Rooms are huge and bathrooms are magnificent. Excellent breakfasts and good service. We had a minor plumbing issue and they gave us the use of a second room [not really necessary] and insisted on discounting our fee. A wonderful place to stay.

I really enjoyed staying here. Spacious room, good location, delisious breakfast and warm-hearted staffs. I appreciate so much their hospitality. I will come back here for the next time.

The location is awesome, in a corner of the Piazza Della Signoria. Any location in the city is an easy walk from the B&B. We even walked (about 15 minutes) to the train station when left Florence. The staff was tremendously helpful with providing advice about the Florence, restaurants, shopping and many other things. The bedroom and bathroom was very clean, nice and good size (especially for Europe). The breakfast was very good and was great way to start the day. I would recommend this B&B to anyone and look forward to returning someday.

There were afew minor negative things about our stay. We rented two rooms one for our daughters,one for ourselves. Our daughters room had better detailing. They received, robes, slippers, tissues, and we did not. I think the management would be careful to be sure the rooms were the same. Some of the services were a little lacking, we had to ask for toilet paper when we ran out, and some telephone messages were not delivered.We had a room with a view and the street noise came through. One night someone within the building had a yelling match of sorts. The walls are thin. Lastly our shower drained very slowly. None of these were annoying enough to keep me from going back though. A real plus was the breakfast. It was so fresh and delicious the wait staff was exteamly accomodating. The office staff was helpful in planning dinner reservation. Over all I enjoyed my stay a nice clean room for a reasonable rate. I felt more connected to Italy then had we stayed at a chain hotel.

This place is awesome for location, history and simply a sweet little B&B. The proud owners could not have been more nice or engaging. We managed between my limited Italian and their limited English but , hey that's the charm of traveling abroad. Beautifully renovated rooms extremely clean with spacious bathrooms. The private entrance is a stones throw away from the Ufizzi. We felt like natives going into our own private palazzo. Can't beat the location or the charm for the price. Wonderful gourmet breakfast brought to our room. We loved it and if staying in Florence would stay there and no other. Unless it has changed, the public space is a little small. But we were on the run so much, who cares! Kudos.

Lovely property, spacious, perfectly appointed and sparkling clean. Centerally located, making it convenient to return shopping packages as needed during the day. Staff was helpful, cordial and happy and to assist with dinner reservations or sight seeing tips. Lovely breakfast! We hope to return soon and have already recommended this property to friends.
